I really, really love this sponge (I have the tear drop shaped one, not the other one). I didn’t expect it to come close to the beautyblender, but it does come close and even surpasses it in certain respects. It feels very dense and thick when it’s dry, so I expected it to be really hard and annoying to work with. But, when you wet it, it transforms completely. It obviously grows, but it becomes SO soft and squishy. It’s ALMOST as soft as the beautyblender, just very slightly firmer which I don’t mind at all. It applies undereye concealer and foundation beautifully. Best of all, it washes SO easily! Just a tiny bit of cleaner (not even my good sponge cleaner) and water, and BOOM, it’s spotless. No permanent, immovable stains, like other sponges (including the beautyblender). It’s a breeze and a delight to maintain. I only own one sponge from the duo but I do wonder if the other one is just as good. For $23 for two I don’t think you can go wrong.
