I tend to be a bit skeptical of “as seen on tv” type products. I get terrible callouses on several places on my feet. While I do shell out for regular manis, I rarely get pedis. This does a great job on tough callouses. I was pretty thorough with this and it didn’t irritate my feet or cause broken skin. I paid about $40USD for the pink one with the extra course file at Bed, Bath, and Beyond. I’d say it’s a fair price as that’s about the average cost of a basic pedi.
The on off switch is easy to use, and the handle is rubberized making it easy to grip. In my opinion these feature make this appealing to those with arthritis or dexterity issues compared to manual files.

The reviewer before me did a great job of explaining how to use this, so I won’t be redundant. I bought the pink version with the extra coarse roller from Bed Bath & Beyond with a 20% off coupon, so I paid roughly $31 instead of the list price. I’ve also seen these on Amazon.com at a discount.
It sounds like a buzz saw but it doesn’t hurt at all. It works very well to sand dead skin from feet, especially the heels. I do this over the tub because there is so much fallout and nothing to catch it. I like it better than manual devices that use razor blades. This is safer. It works fast. It comes with 4 AA batteries. The batteries are easy to replace. The roller will eventually need to be replaced but they sell replacement rollers for $16.
This is a great tool for anyone with dry feet.

I was admittedly skeptical when I first started seeing this on TV. Then I saw them on sale for less than half the regular price ($39) and decided to give it a try. After a summer of non-stop flat sandals, my feet were in need of some TLC and the occasional pedicure wasn’t doing it.
I was pleasantly surprised by how the pedi perfect worked as well as the results. It is very simple to use. Just twist on and rub the roller over your dead skin areas on your heels/feet for a couple of seconds per section. The roller spins on its own, quickly and effectively “shaving” (gross) dead, rough skin and minor calluses away. It doesn’t hurt or inflame skin. After you’re satisfied with the results, remove the roller, give it a quick rinse, and then wipe off the base with a damp paper towel. Put some body butter on your feet and slip into some socks and you’re done.
You may use it a couple times a week or a couple of times a month depending on your needs. It made my rough, dry heels look and feel a hundred times better. Rather than a regular foot file, it left them super smooth, with almost no effort on my part, in a matter of a couple minutes.
If you can find it or something similar on sale and your feet are in need of some smoothing, I recommend it.
