Each pod is 8ml, and lasts me 1 -2 uses. The brush is ok but I prefer to apply with my Avon square foundation brush. Dries very quickly for a mud maks. Strong yellow floral + hair gel scent. Similar to Replica’s “Beach Walk” fragrance. It stung and reddened my skin, and the fumes strangely irritated my eyes even though I don’t apply anywhere near the eye area. Probably get a sample first if you have sensitive skin. I get better and safer results from Queen Helene mud masks for only a few dollars.

I received this in a 3B subscription box. I looove face masks! I have “normal” skin and no issues aside from puffiness under my eyes and redness around my cheeks. This mask was alright. It has a strong floral scent, which is something I really don’t care for- think grandma scent. The little pod does not have instructions, but thankfully the beauty box included instructions for all products in the bag – this is to be left on for 10- 15 min. Upon initial application I felt a slight stinging nothing major, but it was uncomfortable. The pod says “1 time application”, but it looks like it could be used closer to 4x maybe even more. I used my fingers to apply because the pod is so tiny my mask brush (bonvivants) would not fit in it – don’t worry I used clean fingers!! After I washed this off I did not notice any noticeable benefits, but my skin was itchy. I’ll use up the pod, but I won’t be repurchasing. I prefer the Peter Thomas Roth Irish Mud Mask.

A kaolin clay based mask that is a golden brown in color. Has a light herbal fragrance. This mask is meant to be left on skin for 10-15 minutes. It will did not harden on my skin and so was easy to remove. One pod is good for 1-2 uses. I liked using the applicator brush to apply this. My skin did feel really soft and smooth and my pores were temporarily minimized. Overall, I liked the performance of the mask and that it did not dry out my skin. If this product is in your price range, it could be a weekly indulgence for combination to oily skin types.

I bought myself this WEI mud mask for my birthday. It was $42 CAD for eight mud mask pods and a brush to apply. I wanted a product that could help banish some stubborn blemishes from my face and leave my skin with a smooth finish.
For starters – one mud mask pod has lasted me up to 6 applications of my entire face. The pods have peel-off lids, which I just leave on and then reseal them with some plastic wrap overtop to keep the mud fresh. The mud itself is very smooth, and has a pleasant natural scent. It is easy to apply with fingers or with the brush it comes with. The brush it comes with is very nice and soft! It is easy to clean if you wash it with warm water immediately after you have finished applying the mud mask to your face. If you want to reuse a pod, I recommend using the brush for hygienic reasons. I usually leave the mud on for about 15 minutes and then rinse off with warm water. If you leave the mud on too long, it is extremely tough to take off without using a washcloth.
The mask feels nice. It isn’t drying, but for drier skin tones I would recommend applying moisturizer after. It reduces blemishes and impurities noticeably, and works particularly well on reducing skin bumps that aren’t quite pimples yet. I have sensitive skin and it did not cause any irritation. It does smooth the skin and its nice to use about once a week. It also is great for spot treating certain areas of the face and as a travel mask – those pods are just too cute.
My only issues with this mask are the packaging and the price. If the pods could have a resealable lid it would be much better and more sanitary. The price seems a bit steep, but if you reseal and reuse each pod, its not a ridiculous price. Overall, this is a solid mud mask.
