Great results! But a pain in the ASS to rinse off once it’s dry. Flipping heck! Like concrete.

This obviously works for a lot of people, but my experience wasn’t as thrilling. It’s possible that I had an allergic reaction, because once I rinsed the mask off, my face looked like a cat had scratched it, especially around the eyes. Even without that, I wouldn’t continue using it since I found it way too drying for my already very dry skin. It also made my fine lines more pronounced.

By far the best Kiehl’s face mask I’ve had the pleasure of trying so far. After cleansing I leave this on for about 10 minutes, and then remove with warm water and a wash cloth. Granted the Cranberry seeds in this don’t do much for exfoliating (I use a separate scrub for that) and are a bit of a nuisance to remove, but when the results are mattified clearer skin, smaller pores and a nice glow, its a small trade off. I use this just twice a week as I find it can be drying when used any more than that. A good clay mask that has the bonus of not needing to be timed, well at least in my case, as my skin starts to tingle and I realize that means its time to take it off!
No issues with staining for me, I think this occurs more frequently in paler skin tones. If you are pale then definitely best to try out a sample first.

I really love this product. I have a dry and sensitive skin and the amount of clays in this product is sufficient for my skin. Moreover, it seemed like my skin looks brighter after using it.

I found this out from watching Sarah Therese’s am/pm skincare routine over Youtube. She said this improved her skin from hormonal acne, so I went and bought this from a Kiehl’s store. Price is pretty expensive for a mask. So I still bought it anyways. Sarah Therese claimed that this dried out her acne and even helped to tighten her pores. And she is so right! After slathering, drying it for 10 minutes, and rinsing it with just tap water. Boy oh boy, my skin is brightened and rosy. Pores remarkably improved from before – to be honest. Toner, spot gel and retinoic cream seemed to be absorbed pretty well by my skin after using this. This is my first Kiehl’s product and it won a new valued client.

A great mask for purifying skin during times of hormonal changes

My skin does feel tigher and brighter after using this mask. The cranberry seeds are useless for exfoliation, they just stick to my face and are hard to remove. It does tingle alittle as it starts drying down.

This really does what it says, makes ur face feel tightened, bright and clean. I took off one lippie bcuz it ‘s pretty difficult to remove esp with the cranberry seeds as they kinda stick to ur face with the turmeric mask like a paste. I dont have the habit of using a washcloth, but even if i do, it stains my washcloth and the seeds get stuck in it which makes me lazy to get it out lol. Anyway i would still repurchAse this mask despite that as the result is really visible.

This product does exactly what it says on the tin. The texture is a little odd due to the seeds but it’s a great mask and really does make your skin glow. I will continue to use!

I really like this mask. I was afraid it might be too drying (older, mature skin) like many clay style masks but it really isn’t. It leaves my face feeling quite nice actually, but I do follow it up with a good moisturizer. I do find it can leave your skin feeling a tad tight, if you lean to dryer skin, but the trade off seems worthwhile to me and its easy enough to remedy with moisturizer. It’s quite creamy, spreads well, doesn’t take a lot to cover your face, I use a small brush I bought for masking and it works quite well with this mask; no need to dip your fingers in the jar. It dries down fairly quickly; I leave it on for about 20 minutes or so. My skin feels like its been “cleaned” after using this, as opposed to some masks I use are more for hydration etc. This mask seems to almost shrink the pores I have on my nose these days and leaves my skin visibly “refreshed”. I think they claim it makes your skin look healthy and rosy and that pretty much sums up what it does. The dullness is gone, my pores feel clean and my skin looks a little more “vibrant” 🙂 Basically, its been very gently exfoliated 🙂 It does stain a bit (the turmeric) so a white washcloth isn’t ideal 🙂 The cranberry seeds can also be a pain to rinse off, so I definitely have to use a washcloth. They are the exfoliating part of the mask (you are supposed to gently massage your skin while rinsing). I guess they do that, as my skin feels like it has been nicely “exfoliated” but personally I find the seeds a pain 🙂 Overall, its one of my favorite masks and I use it usually about once a week or when I feel my skin needs a “boost”.
