Other than providing a temporary strong menthol sensation, this mask does nothing to treat my acne, large pores or oily skin. The consistency is more like a cream than a clay mask and after rinsing off, this mask leaves a filmy residue on my skin so that I have to wash again. Masks for oily skin issues that I like better are Dermalogica Charcoal Rescue mask, Avon Black Mineral Mask and Freeman Charcoal mask.

Feels great on the skin, but no real effects! I had high hopes that it would help un-clog my extremely clog-prone skin, or at least help with minor blemishes!

Love this stuff. Lovely cooling sensation when its on doing its thing and your skin feels great and looks even better when you take it off. When I need it I use this mask both am/pm and more than the suggested 3x per week. Benefits are definitely cumulative. . .the more you use it the better your skin gets!

This is a nice mask to use. It feels so good when on and cleans beautifully. Perfect for when you suffer from skin congestion, after a night of partying, or the dirty sticky feel of hot weather. It’s a “feel-good” mask that actually does something.
The new tube packaging is a great improvement over the large open “pot”. This will, hopefully, keep the mask from drying out.
This makes my eyes water, but not painfully – it actually feels good.
The inclusion of sulphur is helpful for acne and irritation, but may be too drying for drier skin if used often.

Does not overdry skin, even though meant for oilier skin

Tried it and wow! It comes in a tube now. My skin actually looks different (better) after I use this. The minty feeling gives a cooling sensation when it is on. Winner winner chicken dinner.

I love this mask! I have very sensitive skin, and this mask doesn’t irritate at all!
It gives a very cooling sensation at first, which might be confused with face burning, but don’t be fooled, it it actually quite delicate!
It leaves a very clean, silky face, without drying at all. As some other reviewer said, it really seems to suck all the dirt out of your pores!

Cooling sensation when being applied, feels great in the summer 🙂 Seems to really suck the dirt, oil, and yuckies out from your pores. This mask really helps to prevent breakouts while also dissolving clog. It reeks of sulfur when rinsing but with the great results I don’t care!

I am on my second jar of this. I generally keep this mask on for 30 minutes and it gives me a very cooling, clean, refreshing feeling after wards. I like the way this mask feels on my face but if really dont think it does anything to my acne or pimple. I have also used it as a spot treamtment and didnt see any reduction in the acne sizes. But still I have a jar in my medicine cabinet to get the fresh feeling whenver I want.

I lovveee this mask! It is not to drying and really helps balance acne skins, doesn’t irritate at all! And I have acne, sensitive skin so a lot of things don’t work well but this is amazing.

This really does what it claims in terms of giving clear skin. I use it whenever I have my acne problems, and works very well. Many cleansing masks I’ve used in the past irritated my skin, this one doesn’t have problems so I am pleased.
