This is a fluorescent green mask that has a slight scent to it but not overpowering. According to the website/packaging: “Detoxifying peel-off mask draws out impurities and lifts away oil to reveal immediate results. It contains a unique green super food blend that includes avocado, cucumber, aloe, green tea and bamboo extract to help firm & refine. Great for congested, dull and tired skin.”. In addition to these ingredients it also contains seaweed which is supposed to renew and hydrate skin. It dries down evenly and removes in one piece unless you have it too sheered out at the edges. I did find that this cleaned out my pores quite well and my skin felt smoother afterward, as is the case with most peel off masks. There was no irritation and that is of top concern for me with these type of masks. I got broken capillaries on my cheeks just on either side of my nose from using a Biore nose strip (once!) and they have NEVER gone away. Probably have to invest in laser treatment to have them removed. So I am quite careful now when it comes to these peel off type of products.
I was lucky enough to spot this for 50% off the regular price and feel that was more than fair for this product. Would I repurchase at full price? Probably not. But then again I feel that way about most Pixi products. They are just a little too steep for drug store in my opinion. There are only a handful of truly great products in their line that I would consider worth the cost. Would I purchase again at a discount? For certain I would.
