I wanted to love this product. I like most of TJ’s beauty products, but this one was a no-go for my sensitive skin. I put it on, and within five minutes, the tingling had turned into burning. My face was left red, and took a while to fade. I will have to stick with Epielle sheet masks. On the plus side, it smelled lovely.

I’m 59 and this was my first ever sheet mask experience. I wanted to see what all the fuss was about so I figured I couldn’t go wrong for $3 at Trader Joe’s. I’m not a fan of their skincare – it’s cheap but nothing special – but I was mighty impressed with this product. My skin has always been combination and I’m just starting to get wrinkles – many products that are hydrating enough for the dry patches are overkill on my t-zone. This one contains hyaluronic acid and botanicals, has a non-offensive mild cucumber scent. It’s very wet going on. I felt some tingling but no real burning or irritation. After 20 minutes I took it off and wiped off the excess serum with a dry towel and went to sleep. This morning my face feels smooth, hydrated, refreshed. Not sure if this was the usual newbie experience (I was overdue for some moisturizing treatments) or if it’s that good a product, but it’s a great value.
