Very good, sturdy material that doesn’t dry out on your face so quick, also doesn’t drip which made things more comfortable. The serum is slightly thicker and more slimy than some other sheet masks but that’s not a bad thing. Left my skin feeling really hydrated, soft and smooth. I have some dry, irritated patched on my face and it really helped soothe that. This mask came in a set and I was kind of grossed out because it was snail and reluctant to use it but it wasnt a bad experience at all. I think for people like me though (who get iffy about it) it would be nice not to have that massive picture of the snail on the packaging.

I hella love these snail masks. For one they fit perfectly on my face and have perfect amount of serum. They do not slip when I’m watching TV. The scent is somewhat floral and soapy, it’s comforting and light. The mask is just hydrating enough for my combo skin in winter, but can still work in the summer too. It soothes my skin and helps to lighten marks I had from battling cystic acne. It helps prevent new acne.

I’m not sure what prompted my foray into the world of sheet masks, but I really embraced the whole idea and have purchased and tried many in the last few months.
In part, it is because I get bored with my skin care routine. And whatever bores me ends up being the focal point of my late night Amazon searches.
I ordered a variety pack of TonyMoly sheet masks and ended up using a different one almost every night.
I then reordered several of just this snail mask because I found it to be decent and also I feel the grosser something sounds the better it works.
I’ve now had a chance to really put this mask to the test and I like it a lot. It definitely moisturizes, leaves skin dewy smooth and a bit plumped.

I’ve tried 3 masks from the TonyMoly Pureness 100 line: snail, caviar, hyaluronic acid. They are $2 apiece in store. I think the fit of the masks is mediocre, not as good as MBD. My nose is only partially covered. The masks are dripping with essence. They are not too hard to unfold. The snail one had more brown spots on the sheet than the other ones. I’m not sure if that is from the cottonseed or snail essence itself. The essence is slippery and sticky at the same time. I do find the masks hydrating. The snail one and the caviar one gave my face some strange sensation after 20 minutes (not tinkling or itchy, but I did not want my face to feel that way). I am happy to say I have no negative reaction to the masks. I think the masks also make blackhead extraction easier. Stuff came out easier after I used the masks. I also like to use the hyaluronic acid one after using Biore strip. It took away the itchiness and redness I usually experience after using nose strips.

This is really good though my favorite is the hyaluronic acid one. That one is just perfect but they are all similar. They feel really wet when you open it. A bit hard to un fold the mask. They won’t fit perfectly but well enough. Wear a hair band. I leave it on 30 minutes. When I remove it I had some of the left over serum, but you can keep them or use them on your body. Your face looks crazy moist and plumped afterwards. Really great in winter. Then it soaks in over night. I love these. Been using retinol serum this year and having some flakes so these really help with that. As for the snail serum, it’s there but one night won’t do much. The one that has the most instant effect is the hyaluronic acid. The honey one is nice too but they are all great. . I used the Missha Super Aqua toner and that really healed bumps but it made me nervous to use as it had soo much alcohol, so I switched to the sleeping mask. I am not sure if this broke me out. In general these masks don’t.

Recently at Kansai Airport they`ve opened a whole section for Korean cosmetics, so having heard great things about their skincare products I`ve bought a 20 pack of these masks. The sheet is 100% pure cotton, it feels really comfortable sitting on your face. The fragrance is really nice, very earthy, very green, not only did it not bother me, I actually found it very comforting. I`ve applied after washing, massaging and exfoliating my skin, my twice weekly facial ritual. After 30 minutes I removed it to reveal glowing, hydrated skin. I really like the way it performs and I will repurchase when I`ll be passing through the airport again.(haven`t seen these anywhere else before, if you live in Kansai and you know where I can find them, please kindly let me know).
