Keep seeing these sheet masks by Orgaid at health food stores around Vancouver so thought I’d give them a try. First one I tried was the Greek Yogurt Nourishing Mask and was really not a fan. The package is this beautiful paper/foil with a simple design, the packaging is genius and stays intact even when the mask is taken out. My skin is quite dry so I was really looking forward to this mask. Unfortunately, when I eagerly took out the mask, it was this creamy, goopy mess. I’ve used several sheet masks before and this one was difficult to unfurl and seemed like it would make a mess, which is unusual for a sheet mask. I applied it for 20 minutes as directed on the packaging, the smell wasn’t great but I figured it was made from yogurt that had been packaged so I went through with it. Didn’t really feel like it nourished my dry areas at all, it sat on top off my skin as this warm, goopy mask. Had a small breakout the next day and I think it had to do with this mask. The price is not exorbitant and it might possibly work for someone else? Would personally not repurchase though because it wasn’t a pleasant experience, didn’t really do much and probably contributed to a breakout. Good idea but just don’t think this mask works in practice.
