I wanted to like this product. I have combination skin. I am oilier in my t zone/forehead area and only slightly more dry everywhere else. When I applied this mask, I felt a slight tingling sensation, which I thought was normal based on the reviews that I had read previously. Once I removed this mask, my skin felt smooth but then looked really red in my inner cheek/ upper cheek area. My forehead felt alright but overall, it was very drying to my skin and after, I felt a slightly itchy feeling inside of my skin. I also left it on for the recommended time. I have yet to try the moon mask that you are supposed follow this up with because I was honestly a bit scared because some people reported that their skin got really irritated. I will eventually try that mask out too after only applying this mask to my forehead. But, overall, this product made my skin pretty angry and I will be nervous the next time that I try it again. I would say that for dry skin, I would not recommend, even after I followed this up with a nourishing sheet mask. Also, I did not see any difference in my pores or overall skin appearance. This is unscented but I kind of wish that it had an earthy or light scent because sometimes that adds to the pampering experience. Anyway, hope this review helps out either Glossier or someone else who wants to experiment with this product.

If you want detoxifying masks, there are plenty of good brands out there. I think this mask only works for someone who has very sensitive skin but want some mild detoxing.
I am not too sensitive, I like my detoxifying masks really strong like Origins so my pore looks cleaner.

This mask is not my total fave, but I find it to be pretty good. It seems fairly gentle and is not the kind of mask that feels like it is going to forcibly suction everything out of your pores. It doesn’t leave me red and dry. But neither does it seem to make dramatic improvements. Personally, I am not crazy about a mask that has particles of “stuff” in it, and I would probably not use this unless I knew I was going to wash it off in the shower. It’s a little bit sticky and you do seem to need to put on a thick layer.
It took me a couple of tries to identify the texture of this, but now I can say that it reminds me very much of Kraft Marshmallow Fluff! Kraft Marshmallow Fluff with tiny particles of fruits and greens and maybe some oatmeal in it.
Honestly, it was ordering a couple of products from Glossier that finally ended my insane addiction to reading Into the Gloss. I mean… they’re just products! They did not transform my skin or my mundane existence.
