I rarely get breakouts but my skin clogs up easily when I go overboard on layering creams or use too much oil. So the first time I used this product, when my skin was acting normal with no breakouts, I didn’t get why some people give it rave reviews. It felt too drying and very tightening. Fast forwards to a few weeks later and I have this annoying pimple that just won’t go away. Desperate to dry it out, I slapped this mask on. I use one of those makeup eraser cloths to remove it and it comes off so much more easily that way. The next morning, well whaddayaknow that annoying pimple looks much, much calmer and finally on its way out. Now, I absolutely love this mask. I admit, you can find cheaper clay masks at the drugstore, but I’ve become brand loyal to Caudalie. I got it as part of a Caudalie favorites set, but will try their mini mask trio next because I’m curious to see how their other masks perform.

I bought this on a whim at Sephora over 3 years ago…I just needed a clay mask and this one looked good, so into the cart it went. I confess, this mask isn’t anything super-special — it smells nice (earthy and fresh) and tightens my pores and seems to refresh my skin when it’s feeling clogged and congested. It’s quite pricey compared to other masks, but here’s the thing: it dries in 10 minutes. Ten minutes! My Origins charcoal mask and the Fresh umbrian clay mask don’t dry this quickly! I love to throw this mask in my bag when I travel because when my skin needs some TLC on the road, this is perfect! I slap it on after cleansing, watch a YouTube video or 2, and then rinse the mask off and go to sleep: easy-peasy. The quick-drying aspect is my favorite thing about this mask, and I would purchase it again, but I also think there are cheaper products that have the same effect. Also, the fact that my tube has lasted 3 years without going bad or drying up is not lost on me!

I use this as a spot treatment mask only. Whenever I get a pimple, which I rarely do, I put a dab of this on it, leave it for about 10 mins, then wipe off with a warm compress.

This mask didn’t really do anything for my skin. It seems like a basic bentonite clay mask with some added essential oils and grape extract. I don’t believe in “detox” claims as I am well educated in science (physiology) and understand that only your liver and kidneys can detox you. However, I was hoping this mask would brighten or tighten pores or even just soothe my skin but it did absolutely nothing. Wouldn’t recommend or repurchase. Not interested in overpriced and overhyped “woo-woo” magical detox properties in my skincare.

This mask is absolutely waste of money. I don’t feel any affect. I m disappointment with this brand. It is not the first product from that does not work for me

I got this mask in a holiday set last year and I recently just finished it. It was an okay mask but I didn’t see much, if any, change in my skin when using it. The thing that annoyed me not about this mask was how difficult it was to remove. The directions say to leave it on for 10 minutes. Even after waiting exactly 10 minutes I always had to basically scrub the mask off with a wash cloth because it wouldn’t remove easily. For me it’s not worth it if I have to scrub a product off my skin.

I have tried a few Caudalie products lately and despite truly wanting to love them I mostly find them underwhelming. The Detox mask has a pink color which dries to a fleshy one, smells like lavender and dries fast while it hardens. Unfortunately after washing it my face feels and looks exactly the same as before applying the mask. Pass.

I got this as a sample and I have tested it several times. I had never encountered such a fantastic product. I apply the product to problem areas or spots and let it work as long as I can, sometimes I let it on overnight. This mask helps reduce the inflammation and the infection in spots. It also prevents new spots from developing and clarifies pores. I have tried other cleansing masks as Omorovicza and did not find such an amazing result. This mask is worth it!

This is a clay mask that doesn’t feel too drying. It makes your skin feel clean and matte. Good to clarify your skin. A big plus to me is it is in a tube, which means you can get out every last bit of product!

I am so allergic to this mask it’s not even funny..Tried it and broke out in an itchy rash that took a week to clear up. I put it away, and tried it again months later..just in case it wasn’t the mask that caused me to react. It was. Normally I love Caudelie products but maybe skip this product if you have reactive skin.

So far, from all what I have tried, this is the first mask made what is promised- get rid of clogged pores. My skin is normal to oily with clogged pores (after using wrong cosmetics).
This mask was reccomended by a women that works in the shop with cosmetics. I was little bit skeptic, because I did not read much about this brand, and because it doesnt have good reviews at Beautypedia. Anyway… I tried.. and miracle happened after first use. My skin was out of pores, silky/powdery, not greasy – all after one use.
Will definitely buy this again for this certain issue.
