This is the most lovely hydrating mask I’ve used in a while, might even stop mourning for the unfortunate discontinuation of my beloved Nuxe Masque Frais.
Comes in a vivid yellow flip bottom 50ml tube. It’s a not too thick white cream and much less scented than I expected. I use 1-2 pea size amount and massage to the face, eye area included. After a few minutes it feels more runny bit still nothing has dripped off my face. At the end all is left is some nice silky oil.
When applying hydrating masks I really enjoy giving my skin a good massage (google Lisa Eldridge’s video on facial massage) Hydra Floral is ideal for that as it retains the slipperiness as long as you wish because of the now oily texture. After 15-20 minutes my skin has sucked most of it and I prefer leaving it overnight instead of rinsing. One time per week is enough for my combination skin, it really leaves it soft, supple and guarantees a good skin day. Before using this mask I’d often need a serum under moisturizer but now I don’t even reach for it. The price is steep so I consider it a splurge but it’s worth it unless if you don’t like the way oil feels on your skin. Also don’t rub your eyes with it on or it will make them water – just a warning.

This review is for Decleor Hydra Floral Multi-Protection Ultra-moisturising & Plumping Expert Mask (Rehydrate all skin types).
Key Ingredients: Essential Oil of Neroli, Wild Pansy Extract, Samphire Extract, Hyaluronic Acid of natural origin.
I have been using Aromaessence Rose D’orient Serum and balm on and off for many years, have been very much impressed by the top-notch quality and result this brand has to offer.
This mask is the first mask I purchased from Decleor, and this is under Hydra Floral collection that goes along with Neroli Balm, Serum and all the other Hydra Floral products. Always choosing Rose D’orient over Neroli is simply because of my love for the divine, soothing rose scent, but Neroli really does not disappoint me at all.
With this mask, all you need is to squeeze a pea size on your finger tip, and massage it on your neck, face and collarbones in upward circular motions (as suggested on the official Decleor website), the cream almost instantly disappears and turns into very fine “hydrating oil”, the oil molecules must be so very tiny that you cannot detect any greasiness on the skin, and your thirsty skin soak up oil like a sponge, massage gently and let it work its way into the skin, you would probably feel some graininess along the way, I believe it softens and lifts up some dead skin while you massage, but don’t over-rub it or else it would thin down your epidermis, not a good idea. Then, wait for 10 mins, wipe it with Decleor tonifying lotion (or any other toner) and pat skin dry with tissue paper or cotton pads.
The result: An instantly brightened, silky soft, smooth, glowy, supple complexion that is lovely to touch! Then I would finish it up with serum + balm.
Worth every penny, enjoy using it very much. This one should deserve more attention!

I’ve used the Hydra Floral Anti Pollution Hydration Mask for years which has always yielded great results for me. I had noted this new(ish) product which really has some fabulous reviews so I finally took the plunge and bought it (the Hyaluronic acid was the clincher for me).
It has a lovely rich yet light texture which smells beautiful. Admittedly the fragrance may be a little strong for some but personally I love it. Using a pea size amount you massage the mask all over the face until it turns into an oil. I spend a few extra moments continuing to rub the oil into my face and really working it in. I’ve read some reviews where people complain about the oil dripping all over the place. This should not be happening and if it does you’ve used way too much product or you just need to spend more time working the mask into the skin.
Anyhow the results for me are glowing, hydrated and happy skin and this was noticeable the very next day! Several weeks on my skin looks radiant and the tired dehydrated skin has all but vanished.
It’s a great product, but it may be considered as expensive at £29 (although I got mine for £20 at allbeauty.com). However you only need to use a small amount and given that you only need to use the mask twice a week it should last a while at least.

This was for me, a horrible mask. Its very very scented- to the point making is slightly uncomfortable at first. Its creamy whiye but doesn’t go on too thick- and this in this instance is a bad thing and not good. As after 5 mins this mask was literally running all down my face, like it was melting off. Tiny bits of the mask must have seeped into my eyes somehow and the stinging was just terrible not to mention the scent alone aggravating my eyes, I had blurred vision for hours after, and only tiny bit seeped into the corners of my eyes not like a lot of the mask at all. I thought at first this was somehow my fault as this has NEVER happened with any face mask, maybe my room was too hot, was my face still a lttle damp when I applied it…So i tried again a week later taking extra care and again within 5 min the mask is melting down my face, I washed it off straight away and binned this. Absolute rubbish.
