It’s my first peel-off mask. I was expecting it to not only peel off my dead skin cells but also pick out my blackheads as such masks claim do. Although this one is too fragile to do anything like that. Only to peel off the dead skin you need to put a thick layer of it. It doesn’t bother me anymore but it has gluey smell due to the ACTUAL PVA GLUE put in this mask. And it’s not the only hazardous ingredient – this mask is “enriched” with 3 different PARABENS.
On the other hand, my face looks fresh after using it, not irritated and I noticed having less breakouts.

I borrowed this from my mom once and when I used it, I was amazed. It removes a few facial hair as well, definitely cleans my pores and works on me like a chemical peel in a tube. Like I read in some reviews that it is painful to peel off, I agree but I don’t know if I’m weird or what but I quite enjoy that actually 😛
I got a tube for me a few days back and I used it again today and I love it.

It does brighten my skin and is certainly refreshing. I also find a decrease in my pores after using it.
However, it’s painful to peel off. My eyes were tearing up!

When i started using it, it felt like i wasted my $. However, after using consistently i get to know the hang of it. Honestly, i have small mustache growing beside my lips. When peeling, it helps me to get rid of it. Tip: To make it easier to dry and less pain when peeling, only apply a THIN amt on the face. Will buy this again somehow. Its not as bad as it seems 🙂 Price: $11.30 (U.P)

I bought this product because I like the brand.
It reminds me of the first peel-off product that was issued in my country, that felt so funny and weird to apply and peel off like you were changing skins (I think it was Shisheido).
But apart from the fun, I wouldn’t say it has an effect on my skin really.

I threw this away. And that’s saying something because I am not one to throw a product away.Using this was really time consuming. It is sticky and smelly and it made my face sting. I would not recommend this product!!!
Pros: Brightens the skin a bit.

This is definitely the worst mask I’ve ever tried. The consistency is ok, the smell is fresh and I had high hopes. When this dries, it’s like a ultra thin layer of glue on your face and I didn’t even find first any place from where to start peeling…
And peeling, oh boy it was painful! My eyes were running and my face was totally red after this procedure, and I -may- use this only for my nose, but definitely not for my whole face. And I have no idea if I had any results, so don’t waste your money on this!

This product did absolutely nothing for me! I started getting more whiteheads after using it, I’ll never use it again.

I’m glad I read the review of this product here. At the same time, I’m quite surprised that this brand (Himalaya Herbals)is still not listed.
It has been so long since I last used a peel-off mask, simply because The Body Shop has none. Therefore, to get rid of white heads and blackheads on my nose and skin around the nose, I use Biore Pore Pack (or now known as Cleansing Strips). It is effective but it doesn’t remove all white heads on the curved area around the nose. This is understandable considering the shape of the strip. Another downside is, my nose get very itchy after using it.
A peel-off mask can out-perform the cleansing strip, if you have a somewhat high pain threshold. Another plus point of Himalaya Herbals peel-off mask is, my nose doesn’t get itchy after using it. I can even use this more frequently (every other day), too, as opposed to the cleansing strip, whereas you have to spare the usage once a week only. My whole face feels squeaky clean and fresh. Economical (quantity vs price) product. Highly recommended.
Tips: avoid applying the mask on the skin area that is very close to your hairline, or else it’d be quite a task removing and separating it from your hair. Ouch!
