I have this product in Fabulous, and in “no zit, Sherlock!” And I prefer the No Zit formula. The Fabulous has an off-putting scent, and after peeling it off, the result was unremarkable. The No Zit formula smells better and makes my skin soft and glowing. However, be advised the No Zit can become runny, and drip! Basically, it has packets of powder that you mix with water, measuring cup provided. It becomes a thick, pleasant glop you spread on, and can be very cooling and soothing. The thicker the better, provided it doesn’t start dripping! Avoid any tiny hairs or eyelashes at all, seriously, because it gets chalky and difficult to remove. After 15 minutes, it peels off in these fun rubbery chunks. Thinner parts at the temple may get chalky, but wipe off easily with a warm, wet washcloth. I let the bowl I mixed the mask in sit for an hour, and then I can peel it out of the bowl. Yes, it’s messy, but fun for an at-home spa treatment. I wouldn’t repurchase it because the novelty outweighs the product. However, the No Zit formula is a little better at clearing pores and softening skin than the regular Fabulous. Actually, if I found it on sale, I might buy the No Zit Rubberizing Mask again!

After seeing this for £7.99 in my local TK Maxx (usual price £38.00) I was intrigued enough to spend the money to find out what this was about. I used it for the first time this morning, so wanted to write the review whilst the experience was still fresh in my mind…
The box comes equipped with six sachets of mask powder, six spatulas (which are actually junior tongue depressors!) and a small measuring cup for measuring out the water you need to mix in with the mask powder. I found the whole process of mixing the powder relatively easy, although you need to make sure you have an old or disposable mixing bowl to hand as the instructions on the back of the pack state that under no circumstances should you wash the mask down the drain (so having an old or disposable bowl means you can throw it in the trash when you’re done). My one disappointment when mixing the mask was that it was quite lumpy in consistency and no matter how much I mixed it, I couldn’t get rid of the lumps. You can’t mix it for too long either as it starts to set, so I ended up applying it to my face with a few lumps still in it.
This applies fairly easily and you get a lot of product meaning you can apply a nice thick layer to your face and neck. I think this is important because the thicker the layer the easier it is to peel off when the time comes to remove the mask. Although I’ve read other reviews that say this smells rubbery I didn’t find that to be case and actually thought it smelt more of lavender. The smell didn’t linger for me once I’d removed it either which was another plus.
I left this to set for the recommended 15-20 mins and found it peeled off reasonably easily. It didn’t burn my skin or make it feel tight or itchy; in actual fact I would say it had a cooling effect on my skin which was quite pleasant. When the time came to peel this off, most of it did come off in large pieces, although I found that the areas where I hadn’t applied such a thick layer and were therefore whiter in colour, were harder to peel off and I ended up wiping these off with a damp washcloth instead. Overall it’s not too messy a process, but I think if you left the mask on for longer than 20 minutes you could risk it drying too much, making it much harder to peel off.
This definitely left my skin feeling a lot softer, although I’m not so sure about the revitalising properties it claims to encourage. However, perhaps with repeated use this might prove to be the case.
Based on my first experience of this I will definitely use it again and if my local TK Maxx store stocked this again at the much reduced price, I would purchase it again. Overall pleasantly surprised with this mask.

Do not waste your money.
This is a disgusting product. HORRIBLE.
The results are decent, but the mess it makes is horrendous.
I agree with the other posters about the consistency, but I was not bothered by the smell.
BUT THE MESS IS RIDICULOUS.
I left the product dry 30 minutes – 15-20 suggested.
The darn thing wouldn’t peel off in any large pieces so I was starting to peel coin size pieces of my face. STUPID.
So I hopped in the shower to rinse it off and it mostly came off, although some how some got stuck in my hair which is also SO GROSS, but because this doesn’t dissolve (and there are warnings all over the package NOT to put the peeled mask down any drains), I had to clean out my drain…what a lot of work.
I like the theory of this product but the USING of if it too much for me to handle.
There are SO many other products out on the market that do not leave this much of a mess.

I got it from Urban Outfitter (random, I know!) sale and it only costs $9.99 for a pack instead of $38! I tried it the first time today and I have to say, it is a very interesting product! Don’t get me wrong, the result is instant and my skin feels very soft and radiant right after I peeled off the mask. The smell is not very pleasant (it smells like rubber) but it is bearable. It doesn’t give me any uncomfortable sensation while it is drying off. The amount in each pack is generous so it is enough to apply a thick layer all over the face and neck. And the other thing I like about this mask is the consistency. Generally this kind of mask is either being very dry that you can hardly spread on your skin or it is very runny that it drips off your face right away. But the consistency of this mask is just about right, i.e. not too dry or not too wet. When you apply it, it almost likes spreading a mixture of cold yogurt and jelly on your skin. I believe I will be using this mask and definitely will buy more if I pass by any Urban Outfitter and has it at $9.99 a pack.

I received this as a gift with a purchase from the Bliss website. It came with a scoop and a spatula, which was a nice touch. Mixing it was sort of neat too. It looked like blueberry yogurt when mixed. The smell, however, was completely nauseating, a combination of sweaty socks and oily hair. It lingered throughout the day even though I showered right after. My skin definitely felt smoother after I used it but I think it also made my skin oilier (which may have been the reason for the lasting odor). This definitely made it not worth trying it again.

I had heard rave reviews of this product and to be honest I wasn’t sure it was going to be worth the hype. The idea of a rubberizing mask that you could peel off was enough to make me want to try it, even if it didn’t do all it was supposed to.
The product is said to provide brighter and healthier looking skin and it absolutely does. My skin is glowing, soft and even toned. Not to mention the mixing of the product is so much fun. Each package also contains plenty of product to apply a thick layer to your face and neck.
It comes with 6 packages and it’s very important to note that you do not rinse the product down the sink because it will clog the drain. Just let it harden and toss it in the garbage. love it and will definitely buy more!
