Sisley is one of my favorite brands because the products work well. I like this mask because it absorbs quickly and has a tightening effect.

I’m seriously confused by this product… I had seen rave reviews and so shelled out the money, but I see zero difference in my skin when I use it. Zero. And it have kind of a sticky residue.

Just what was I thinking? A product with just 3 botanicals, water, sesame oil and a bunch of chemicals was never going to produce amazing results, but I guess I had to find that out for myself (as always!). Unfortunately this mask did absolutely nothing for my skin, other than provide a touch of hydration. No brightening, no firming or tightening. No difference to pores nor texture of my skin. In other words it didn’t make an ounce of difference. I also used it longer than the 3 minutes prescribed but still didn’t notice anything. I’ve used much better masks in the past that deliver immediate and visible results. Glad this was just a sample tube I invested in and not the full size product.

I said yes I’d buy it again because I have bought it twice—deeply discounted at duty free shops. But I won’t buy it at full price again, because I don’t know exactly what it does for me. All I know is, every time I’ve used it, someone remarks on the beauty of my skin. (I don’t actually have beautiful skin.) Also, it smells good and I feel pleasurably extravagant using it, a genuine soothing pamper.

The most expensive of my masks, but not the most effective.
When you put it on it feels really good and watery, the smell is nice – it’s basically water with extracts. But when it dries it feels like water dried on your face – I just want to add a layer of an actually hydrating product, because it’s not enough at all (and my skin is normal). It slightly improves skin texture if used as a night moisturizer.
Overall I don’t think this product is good enough in doing anything to justify the price. It solves no actual problems. This is just silly. I had drugstore masks that could do better.

i love all of Sisley masks. This one smells divine and appears to be a ver light mask It absorbs into the skin and i never need to wipe any excess off. It does seem light but it does hydrate your skin in a very gentle way. You can use it in the morning wirhout looking greasy or shinny where as black rose mask i can only use at night Sisley do make beauriful skin care products but they are good value. This tube is used weekly and so far i have had it for four months If you put it in the fridge it is fabulous at the end of a hot day
The more i use this the more i love it. even more than Black Rose mask. If you find it to light a moisturiser or oil can also be used but i find this one very gentle and it gives no irritation at all. Definatly one of my favorite

I trusted you Sisley.
I looked towards your high end price tag, reputation as a professional skincare line and luxurious packaging, thus thought you had to be the real deal. I saw the ingredients list and almost ran for the hill but my faith in the Sisley name led me to believe that the poor ingredients, must be more beneficial . Oh Dimethicone and Castor Oil, must be sourced differently and be of a more pure quality, my silly brain told me. Alas my initial opinion of the ingredients list was accurate. The ingredients found in this $160 AUD mask were purely comedogenic and present in majority of the low end masks. I broke out in clogged pores and tiny milia after a mere two days and consequently will be returning this horrific product.
The positive?
It did make my skin glow.
Although I’d take dry skin, over glowing skin with a mass production of pimples any day!
VERDICT?
If you’re looking for a product that will break you out, cause multiple clogged pores and induce cystic acne then LOOK NO FURTHER.
THIS PRODUCT WILL BREAK YOU OUT.

This is an insanely overpriced mask from the insanely overpriced French brand Sisley. It costs $140 for a 2.15 oz size. Normally, I do not use Sisley, but when I got a nice fat sample tube of this with a Nordstrom cosmetics order, I wanted to give it an honest try and see for myself what my skin was missing out by not using this cult product. Short answer: Nothing, absolutely nothing.
This is an extremely ordinary do-nothing product. It is mostly water, a couple flower waters and extracts, dimethicone (a silicone that has some skin protecting qualities), dustings of some other stuff (none of them skin beneficial, mostly to adjust texture and pH) and a long list of preservatives. It consists of probably around 90% water and there is nothing and absolutely nothing to warrant the exorbitant price – which only 2.5 grams of pure gold in a tube could justify!
I set aside the formula and price concerns, and trying to convince myself that this is a most luxurious treat for my skin I used it as directed: apply on perfectly clean skin for 3 minutes, blot to absorb excess. Well, I can say one thing for sure, it smelled like heaven for my rose loving nose. The 3 minutes were too short to do anything, even after blotting it left a tacky layer on my skin, impossible to apply makeup on top. I had to wash it off and all I was left with was a 3 minute pleasure of smelling rose and $$$ down the drain. No effects on my skin – no plumbing up, no moisture, no glow. Next day I gave it one more try applying a very generous amount and letting to sit it longer. Nope, no moisturized, plumbed up, glowing skin. Only 10 minutes of smell heaven and then major $$$ down the drain. I trashed the remaining product in the sample tube (would have been one more very very generous application) and decided to write a review here.
Dearest ladies, if you have $$$ to throw the drain you are dismissed, otherwise you can get really good serums, creams, masks etc. for $140 or less – products that will make a difference to your skin. Just stay clear of Sisley. If you want luxury, Estee Lauder has some great options (not affiliated). If you want a nice smell, $140 would buy you some of the best fragrances of history – Chanel Exclusifs, Guerlain, Serge Lutens. Or you could get a nice mask for $40 or less, and use the rest to buy a much nicer pair of shoes or cashmere sweater than you usually do. Or a really nice dinner out, fresh flowers for a few months – well, so many nice things that $140 could buy. Just don’t throw that $140 down the drain. Don’t drop it at the Sisley counter.

I bought this many years ago, and just brought it along with me when I moved out of NYC almost 6 years ago because I felt guilty that I used to spend so much money on skincare products. I like masks, but this one really doesn’t do anything. First of all, 3 minutes is not enough time for a mask to do anything. Second, I like masks that I can remove with a wet cloth or in the shower–using a tissue to wipe off the excess means it leaves a pore-clogging residue. I am fairly confident that other than the eye & lip contour cream (which I would only buy if there was a ridiculous sale), I will never spend money on Sisley products again.

Love it! I use it as a day moisturizer, i dont use too much product and i do not remove the mask off my face, i just leave on as a normal moisturizer. This mask makes my skin looks very hydrated, plump, firm and smooth. Love the smell and the gel texture which is perfect for my oily skin and works really well in all seasons! I do always buy this product with a good discount, just perfect!
