This is one of the best masks I’ve ever used. I shouldn’t be surprised, with all the incredible ingredients therein; but man, when I rinsed it off and saw the shining skin of a baby angel underneath, I was pretty thrilled.
It looks like your typical mud mask, but is much thinner and a little goes a long, long way. I imagine it’ll be quite cost-effective. It has an earthy, herbal, slightly citrusy scent; it’s not an unpleasant smell, but it’s definitely not “omg let me huff this” good. I appreciate that it just smells like what’s in it: mud, herbs, and essential oils. And I love that it has aloe vera, shea butter and manuka honey, so the mud doesn’t dry out my face.
One caveat/word of warning: they say on the package that it “tingles”, and holy shit is that an understatement. This burns like a mothereffer when you put it on. It only lasts about 30 seconds or so, but it was a strong enough reaction that I was asking myself if I should rinse it off or stick it out. I’m glad I stuck it out. My skin is 500% improved as a result.
I’ll be using this twice-weekly and enjoying great goddamn skin.
