Definitely one of the most effective face masks that I have used. Visibly and quickly clears the blackheads on my nose as well as any blemishes on my face. The combination of the charcoal and kaolin really do seem to be super effective! Also a bonus that it’s not drying by any means and it’s easy to wash off.

This looked cool in the jar and I was excited to try it given rave reviews. But this is was a big no for me. It was really difficult to spread, and leaves your face looking like it was smeared in coal. If it works, that’s fine by me. But I didn’t notice any benefits, and what’s more my skin began to break out the days following the treatment. My skin is somewhat breakout-prone, but pimples were popping up in spots where I rarely get them. So if you are at all breakout prone I would be apprehensive about this one.

First I’ll mention a little bit about my skin. I have the textbook combination oily skin, larger more visible pores on my cheeks and forehand and some acne scarring from my teens. I wear makeup on a semi regular basis. I am an everyday masker and I always use a spatula to stay hygienic.
With all of this being said I can start my actual review of this product.
I picked up a sample size of this at a good price, I think it’s .87oz so a decent size for a sample. My first impression was that I loved how the white and the black clay swirls together in the package.
Upon opening it I have seen it has a rather harsh “earthy” scent IMO that I’m not a huge fan of. It has a nice consistency, it really does feel like pudding. It doesn’t have any tingle, cooling or warming sensation associated with wearing the product which was a bit disappointing to me. I love when a mask tingles and I can feel it working it’s magic. Now with that being said, I know a lot of people hate tingle as well as warming and cooling sensations so I believe this may be a good product for them. After removing the mask, my face felt very clean and my pores looked to be slightly tighter than before I put it on each time! So that’s a major plus!
So in conclusion, I like this mask, I think it’s a good product. It’s not MY favorite just because it doesn’t tingle while it’s on but it would be wonderful for someone not looking for tingle or someone with slightly sensitive skin!
I think it’s a pretty good value for the amount of product. (Full size is $38). A lot of people dislike the jar packaging for hygienic reasons which I understand but I don’t mind it as long as I’m using a spatula! Again I’m not a fan of the scent, but it doesn’t linger after the product has been washed away which I appreciate. Im not sure whether I will purchase the full size for myself or not because there are others I prefer but I do think it is a great product and would recommend it to others!

I’ve finished this in two months and noticed no difference in my skin or pores. The only thing that i notice is softer skin after i use it. The consistency is great its very creamy yet hard but easily spreadable. The mask doesn’t dry off into a solid or a tight like mask it just turns into oily dirt that’s uniformly stuck like a solid mask. if that makes sense. If you are looking for something that leaves you devoid of all oil don’t look here it most likely just acts as a face pack treating acne with the plant extracts and keeping those properties active in all the moisturizers. On the other hand if you always wanted to try charcoal based items but find them too drying this “pore pudding” is right for you since it doesnt dry my skin at all. but i will say one thing this doesnt refine my pores as a normal traditional clay mask does.

I really like this mask! Doesn’t strip my skin, makes it feel nice and clean and makes its look bright. I find it a tab bit expensive for what it is but I am on my second one.. so take that as you will.

Amazing gentle purifying mask. Most purifying masks are very drying, this deep cleans without stripping my skin. Absorbs oil and tightens up pores, my face feels soft, clean and balanced after. Does not dry tight or flaky and washes off easily.

I got this in my July sephora play box. I like this product a lot overall, it’s a nice charcoal mask that helps balance my combination skin.
The scent is nice (not amazing) and smells like a herbal citrus scent, however I do find it a bit screechy. The mask is very thick and a bit sticky, but isn’t difficult to apply. It can be kind of hard to tell when the mask is ready to take off since it does not tighten on your face like most masks. I had to do finger tests instead to see when the mask was dry (took about 10 minutes). Afterwards my face felt very clean, but not dry. I like that this mask was gentle but seemed effective. Ultimately, I see no reason to drop so much money on this because there are plenty of nice cheap masks. Although I do like my sample.

I love this product!! Right after I use it I feel and see the results. It’s like every black head that was around my t-zone vanished. Although the direction weren’t clear, I Googled it and was able to answer all my questions. Definitely recommend this to anyone looking for visible results.

Got this in my Sephora July box and I love to try new masks. I found this product packaging to be very pretty, the white and black clay swirls very pleasing to the eye. Once applied to face I use a spatula to scoop and use PTR masktasker to spread and swirl the clay mask on my face (I feel I waste too much product if I apply with my fingers) Mixes into a gray color. I found this “pudding” really doesn’t dry to a very tight feel on the face. (Big difference in comparison to my glamglow which I love) and washes off easily. At first I was not impressed, but the next morning my face was very soft and smooth. The mask was the only different thing I had applied previously. Pores on my nose do appear smaller. I didn’t not notice any odd smell that some reviewed on Sephora complain about. Very gentle, I feel sensitive skin can use this mask without any difficulty. This may replace my glamglow, will need to finish my deluxe sample first.

Is this cookies ‘n cream pudding? No, but it’s even better than that! I can say with confidence that this is a worthy contender for being my HG mask.
Boscia Pore Pudding is a mixture of black charcoal, white charcoal, and Kaolin clay. Supposedly, by including two types of charcoal, you get the best of both worlds: a thorough, intense deep cleansing while also balancing your skin’s hydration levels. With so many disappointing masks out there, I went in with skepticism, but this mask definitely delivered.
I have to say, it’s pretty amusing slathering the black and white parts of the pudding across the face and watching it turn grey. It’s like mixing paint on your face, almost. Although I don’t really have sensitive skin, I can definitely see it working for pretty much anyone with how gentle this is (No horrifically uncomfortable burning sensation! I’m looking at you, GlamGlow). And true to its claims, it does not feel drying at all, even after leaving it on the full 20 minutes. With how benign the mask felt, I was a bit worried that it wouldn’t yield any results. However, I was proven wrong. I don’t think I’ve ever had a mask actually deliver on all of its promises.
My skin visibly looked brighter and cleaner, my pores are smaller, my face felt perfectly hydrated, and all was right in this world. It even managed to pull out the nasty black stuff out of some of my clogged pores on my nose and cheeks. Is this sorcery??
With how little product you need per use – and the miraculous results it produces – I’d say this mask is a killer deal. I can’t recommend this stuff enough!
