Like several other products by Milk, this mask is packaged in stick form. While I’m not sure the stick form suits those other products, it actually fits this mask well as you can apply the mask to your face and keep your fingers clean (although you may have a bit of difficulty applying the mask around your nose without using a finger). It also makes the mask easily portable. Removal is fairly easy; it just requires lots of water and massaging with fingers (easiest in the shower) or using a washcloth.
As for performance, it’s mediocre. Honestly, I’ve never been impressed by any clay mask, which this is. It advertises itself as moisturizing and, well… it’s not drying, but it’s not moisturizing by my standards, either. How can I explain? It didn’t dry out my skin, but my skin was less hydrated than before I used it. I have dry, dehydrated skin, so someone with normal or oily skin might want to consider this mask if clay masks typically dry them out. Don’t be fooled, though: if you’re looking for a mask to hydrate skin, look elsewhere.
Final points: I have sensitive skin and experienced no irritation with this mask. I also saw no changes to my skin in a beneficial way from this mask – no evened tone, no smoother skin, no reduced redness, etc. Thus, I have no reason to repurchase.
