This mask was a pleasant surprise as I’m always quite hesitant to try new products and 100% Pure products have been very hit or miss for me. As autumn sets in here in the mid-Atlantic, the outdoor air has turned drier and after spending a day outdoors at DH’s office picnic and the evening at a baseball game, I removed my sunscreen to find my skin quite zapped of moisture. The next day, I tried this mask in hopes of restoring my dehydration prone skin.
The packaging is quite wasteful, particular for a company that is focused on its environmental impact so the mask lost lippies there. The mask itself didn’t quite lay flat along the sides of my nose nor cover the area immediately adjacent to my nostrils so I found myself pressing it down there throughout the 20 minutes I wore it. Also, the eye holes were way too small for my eyes but I did like that it covered the area around my eyes and rest of my face well. I didn’t put mine in the freezer first yet it was still nicely cooling both during wear and after removing, in fact, I could see this being a great tool to calm down a rosacea flare and may try it that way in the future.
After removing and applying the remainder of the serum left in the packaging as the instructions direct, I found my skin calmer and pleasantly hydrated. The cooling effect was lovely and the results persisted for the rest of the day. I do think this is rather spendy at $8 for a single mask but I could see getting the 5 pack next time to have the masks on hand for when my skin needs extra TLC. I may even try other 100% Pure masks in the future.

Absolutely love this mask! I came back from a trip to Maui, Hawaii super sunburned and this mask helped cool down my skin, soothed it and refreshed it. The mask is a “hydrogel” material and is 95% organic aloe and 5% plant cellulose. It has ingredients like Coffee and Yerba Mate Tea infused into it. It made my skin go back to “normal”, after the ardour it had gone through after days of hiking and blazing beach sun. Wish I could buy it more often but it is a bit on the pricey side.
Ingredients: Aloe Barbendesis (Organic Aloe Juice), Coffea Arabica (Green Coffee) Extract, Sodium Hyaluronate (Hyaluronic Acid), Arbutin Extract (from Bearberry), Camellia Sinesis (Organic Green Tea) Extract, Fucus Vesiculosus (Seaweed) Collagen, Sodium Ascorbate (Vitamin C), Illex Paraguariensis (Yerba Mate) Extract, Plant Cellulose, Glycerin

Tip- cool it in the fridge for a super refreshing experience. It works pretty well but I haven’t used any other sheet mask lately. I have nothing to compare it to.

This is a hydrogel mask that currently sells for $7.00 (USD) which I suppose is about average for these type of masks. It felt nice to wear, and unlike reviewers on the 100 Percent Pure website, I was able to sit up and read without the mask sliding off. However, I rate it only two lippies because despite wearing it for 30 minutes, I saw no benefit. I will say that my skin is currently in excellent condition, so perhaps I would have seen benefit had my skin needed hydration, brightening, etc. I have very sensitive skin, so two lippies for no irritation and providing a nice, spa-like experience. I wouldn’t recommend this mask, though, since I saw no benefit.
