I received this in a 3B Beauty Box and was extremely excited to try it. The brand is all about “natural” ingredients. A few company claims:
“We guarantee all our products are made from natural grains, plants, and flowers.”
“We assure you that we use recycled fabrics for our masks and patches.”
This mask is a sturdy cotton sheet mask that was flexible enough to mold to my face, but a little stiffer than other cotton sheet masks I’ve tried. The directions on my package stated to remove a film, but I didn’t find any film. Perhaps there was one that was super thin and I totally missed it, making the mask feel stiffer than usual. I looked around the web and found different descriptions – some with the film, some without. I’ve done that before and it was an obvious mistake, but this one I feel like maybe there really wasn’t a film. In any case, point being: double check your mask for a film!
The mask did not slide down my face, so I was actually able to walk around without worrying about it falling off my face. It surprisingly fit my face perfectly (even with a big forehead) & felt pretty comfortable. It did have a slightly sticky feeling after over 20 minutes of use and I had to pat my face much longer for excess product to absorb. Even after patting the product in, my face felt dewy – like the product never dried. It wasn’t actually an uncomfortable stickiness, but perhaps it was extreme moisture still on my skin, though not much liquid was actually on my face.
The mask is supposed to help “free the pores from deep-seated dirt.” I highly doubt this type of sheet mask would really do this, but it helped plump, smooth, and hydrate my skin. At $2/sheet, it’s a rather inexpensive option that I would probably opt for if it didn’t have alcohol. My package and Beautique website display Alcohol in the ingredients, but the direct Botanic Farm US website ( doesn’t list it. In any case, this opened me up to the Botanic Farm brand and I will be looking to try more of their masks & other products soon!
