Well, I gave it a shot…
This mask was supposed to be for “clearing and purifying”. Um, that’s not what happened. I have oily skin that is aging and use sheet masks every week. Before this, I had never tried one that I didn’t like. I picked up this one and the Green Tea version at CVS for about $2.50, which is cheaper than Ulta sells TonyMoly’s. I liked it because it wasn’t all about moisturizing – I want to be less shiny and have flawless skin! 😉
Used it as directed and afterwards my skin felt a little tacky, which is not completely unusual. It seemed a little more extreme than usual and I debated washing it off, but reminded myself that moisturizing sheet masks can make me feel like that too and yet they make my skin happy. So I patted in the serum remaining on my skin and went to bed. Woke up this morning with a bunch of zits on my chin – so not happy! Lol They were not bad, just little fluid-filled zits that had to be drained and disinfected. But since my skin looks worse today than it did yesterday, I will not be buying this brand again.
Ingredients: Water, Cetyl Ethylhexanoate, Glycerin, Butylene Glycol, Cyclopentasiloxane, Cyclohexasiloxane, Polysorbate 60, Melaleuca Alternifolia (Tea Tree) Leaf Extract, Arnica Montana Flower Extract, Artemisia Absinthium Extract, Achillea Millefolium Extract, Gentiana Lutea Root Extract, Cetearyl Alcohol, Polyacrylate-13, Polyisobutene, Polysorbate 20, Carbomer, Tromethamine, 1,2-Hexanediol, Propanediol, Caprylyl Glycol, Illicium Verum (Anise) Fruit Extract, Chlorphenesin, Phenoxyethanol, Disodium EDTA, Fragrance.
There are plenty of other sheet masks that work great, but this was not impressive to me. However, ymmv!
