The formula is really wet and sticky. The silver lining is it does not clump the lashes.

I love this mascara. After reading a few comments here, I took note that this mascara is definitely the one for folks who naturally have curly to mildly curly lashes. And if you’re the kind who prefer a clump-free smudge-free mascara solution, this one’s ahhmazingg! I’m not kidding. I love the comb-like wand because it separates my easily-tangled lashes and give them a lovely definition without that spidery-effect. It coats and lengthens my lashes and stays all day really.

I am actually surpirse I didn’t like this mascara, as I did like other of their mascaras and I am a huge fan of comb wand applicator.
It holds a curl, thats the good news. The problem I have with this mascara is how dry it really is. In fact, it is so dry, when I apply the product on my lashes, my lashes are barely coated. Maybe I just got a bad batch, I don’t know. In anycase, after using it just once, I put it away and then came back to it a few months later when I ran out of mascara and realised even with such little product on the lashes, the curl does hold. So what I do now is I use this mascara to hold the curl on my lashes after I curl them, and then layer with another wetter and darker mascara that is actually able to give my lashes some colour. Having said this, I would not re-purchase.

I L.O.V.E this mascara. Fullstop.
I read a lot of reviews before deciding to get this (i usually read up on what i might want anyway hahas :P). It holds a curl ALL DAY. No joke. I have the typical sparse, pretty short, non-curl asian lash and no mascara has ever been able to leave my curled lashes curled. It also DOES NOT SMUDGE. I never, ever use non-waterproof mascara cause i don’t trust them to not smudge but all the waterproof ones smudge anyway. (I had a maybelline pulse perfection vibrating mascara and it was WATERPROOF and so HARD to get off even after using a eye/lip oil remover. Still smudges. D:)
Oh i got a violet one because i was kinda desperate (the kind where you don’t actually have to get it but you can’t stop thinking about it.. Heh.) and the black one didn’t seem like it was going to be restocked anytime soon. A lot of people complained that the colour didn’t show unless under light, which i agree. BUT this is precisely why i felt it was so perfect. It looks natural and the colour is subtle under normal light.
The comb applicator helps with the curl and is able to separate lashes. (but i still use an eyelash comb later :D)
ps. I got it at S$13 something at Watsons (20% off).
pps. i wore the mascara to dance
ppps. I live in S’pore, which is pretty humid most of the time
pppps. I don’t think the States have Z.A and Z.A (s’pore) is only distributed in Watson.
i am so definitely gonna repurchase especially if the black finally restocks. :)))))

Best mascara i’ve ever used.
I have long, thin, down-wards eyelashes (typical asian eyelashes) and when i’ve curled my eyelashes and use this mascara, it makes my eye lashes look even longer and holds the curl.
Most mascaras weigh down my eyelashes and doesn’t hold the curl, even after i’ve curled them, but this mascara doesn’t!
The only thing i would change about this mascara is how thick it makes my eyelashes look. It makes them look long, curled, but not thick. If only there’s a mascara that does all of that!
But this product is great.

Didn’t do too much for my short/thin lashes. Made them look darker and slighty thicker/longer but not as good as the other drugstore mascara’s I have tried. The brush took some getting used to. The wand is shaped a bit like a comb, and the bristles are very fine/short. A good thing is that it doesn’t pick up alot of product at once, so you won’t get much (if any) clumping. Separated my lashes pretty well, but with mascara’s I usually like a bit more volume/length. Good for the ‘no makeup, makeup’ look. Didn’t flake, but did slighty smudge later during the day. Wouldn’t buy again though as I got this free gift with purchase.

I personally feel that this mascara is more of like a “dye”. What i meant by that is it gives your eyelashes the colour and does nothing else other than that. I have the one in violet and i seriously feel that this mascara does not give my lashes any sort of volume or lengthening. However, it does make your eyelashes seem more obvious than before. But if you’re looking for the dramatic kinda lashes, this ain’t the one for you. The colour didn’t turn out obvious too unless i’m standing under bright light n that im looking real close at my lashes. Otherwise, the colour part of this mascara doesn’t really work too. But maybe its because i have dark lashes and that violet might not work as well as the other colours ( just my opinion). On the other hand, this mascara does not clump, flake, smudge or give me spidery-legs-like lashes. It separates my lashes really well. This would be great for people who like to have natural looking lashes. The wand is small and easy to handle and apply. The packaging is tiny and i think its kinda cute. This would be a great mascara when traveling overseas for it is small, easy to apply and natural looking(if you get the black one).
Oh and one more thing. If you wanna get the colour to turn out well, you gotta keep layering. Its quite a hassle but its worth the try…
Tip: i sometimes use this as a base especially when i use mascaras that weighs down my curled lashes. It keeps my lashes curled all day – no problemo! Oh, and when i use this as a base before using a mascara that clumps quite a bit, i realized it helped to lessen the clumping. So kudos to that! They should call it a base instead lol

This is one of my staple mascaras. Believe it or not, for a special ocassion, I’m applying hmmm… let’s see… 4 different mascaras in 4 layers… The first would be the Majolica Majorca base mascara, then the Fiberwig Mascara, Majolica Majorca Lash Expander and the finishing would be the ZA Wide Eyes Mascara.
I can’t really remember how much I bought this since I’ve been using this for a few months already… All I can remember is that it’s around HKD 70-ish… I got mine from Sasa, but it can also be bought at some Watson’s Personal Stores all over Hong Kong.
I love this mascara because after applying the MM Lash Expander to make my lashes really long and looking velvet black, this ZA Wide Eyes Mascara would give my lashes the volume. It would really make my lashes the look like I got some fake lashes on because of the very long length it gives. Well, hands down to ZA for this!

Doesn’t curl or lengthen my lashes. Sure, it’s waterproof and stays on all day, but what is the use of applying a mascara when it neither curls nor lengthens? Unless maybe you buy the coloured ones, and just use it as a fashion statement (which is not my style, I prefer natural makeup). I wouldn’t buy this product again.

I love colored mascaras especially blues and purples,
i have this in BL80, BL81, VL 60.
They add vibrant colors to my lashes and lasts the whole day!
i Love za’s makeup! skincare… erm. oh well!
