Ultra volume mascara is a nice mascara. The formula is a little dry. I put rapidly 2 coats. A little bit of volume and separation. Verry natural looking, for day time mostly. I use it as a base with two other mascaras. Love it!

I got this on sale for $3, and was pleasantly surprised to find that it’s good quality. It does take two coats for me to get the right look, which isn’t at all unusual even for many higher quality brands, but this is definitely worth keeping. I’m not sure if it’s been discontinued or not but when this tube is gone I would buy again, especially when they’re on sale.
It is truly waterproof but it comes off easily with coconut oil or eye makeup remover.

I picked up all 4 of this line’s mascaras when they were marked down. So far I’ve loved the lengthening one, and didn’t really care for the definition one.
My eyelashes are long and straight, and I liked how this mascara was able to lift them up and hold them up after curling my lashes. The brush is kind of fat like most of the line, so I had to do a little clean up after applying. It’s hard to get into every nook and cranny if that matters to you. Most days I just apply a simple coat and run out the door so it doesn’t matter much to me. What really made this lose two lippies for me was that it clumped my lashes, when I was done it looks like I have about 10 on each eye. I don’t have very thick lashes so this isn’t terribly abnormal for me, but it is still a look I like to avoid.
I got the waterproof version

Love this mascara. It’s fantastic. Makes me lashes look mega volumised. packaging is lovely and the price is reasonable. will buy again.

The only reason I can’t use this mascara again is because my eyes have an allergic reaction to it!
I’m gutted because my lashes aren’t super long or thick but this mascara produces beautifully thick natural looking lashes that stay curled.
I have tried the blue (volume and length) and the green (length) and whatever is in those formulas doesn’t irritate me so I’ll continue to use. I do prefer the blue to the green and will write a review soon.

Gives good volume. Very little clumping. Comes off easily with water. No need for makeup remover.

I bought this at the same time as the liquid eyeliner and I’m glad I made this impromptu purchase. It’s a really great mascara, on par with the old formulation of the Imju Fiberwig.
This is a fiber mascara that coats your lashes and comes off easily with when you wash your face. The brush is very thick and tends to collect a lot of mascara. I usually need to scrape some off using the tube in order to get a smooth application. The formulation goes on smoothly, but it does clump my lashes together, so a lash brush is needed. It dries quickly, but not too quickly, so I have ample time to de-clump. One minor annoyance is that it does not hold a curl as well as other mascaras I’ve tried. Contrary to its name, it doesn’t dramatically volumize my lashes, but it does lengthen nicely. The results are natural looking on me, which is fine. I’m not looking for a product that screams “HERE ARE MY LASHES” anyway.
It lasts all day with no smudging or smearing. At 14h, it looks just as good as it did when I first applied it. I use a biphasic eye makeup remover to take it off, mainly out of habit, but it comes off just as easily with my oil cleanser.
I’ve tried a ton of other mascaras: Maybelline Great Lash, Lancome Definicils, Diorshow, Clinique, Bobbi Brown…and this one is a winner. This edges out the Kiss Me Heroine Long & Curl mascara, just for its ease of removal alone. However, I took off a lippie because it does not produce “ultra volume” as its name would imply.
UPDATE (7/30/14): the clumpiness and inability to hold a curl have gotten to me. Even though it doesn’t smudge at all, it just doesn’t make my lashes look as good as the Kiss Me Heroine Make Long & Curl Mascara. I will not be repurchasing.

I got turned onto Geisha Ink because I like their eyeliner pencil.
I just bought this and have used it for 3 days and want to go out and buy my staple Guerlain Cils D’Enfer or Chanel Mascara Exceptionnel.
The Geisha Ink is a bit sticky/tacky and lingers on lashes to wand like ‘spider webs.’ The mascara feels like eyelash glue. I have trouble getting the mascara on my lashes and holding.

This is my HG mascara! I’ve got to be on my third or fourth tube of this now and I have no plans to replace it. It lasts all day and my eyelashes look gorgeous. I don’t find that it flakes at all or runs down my face. I curl my lashes a little before putting it on and I don’t find it weighs them down. Great mascara!
Only cons: 1) quite expensive for mascara 2) I find there’s WAYYY too much product on the brush and if you use it right out of the tube it looks heinous the second it touches your lashes. I remove the brush and run it perpendicular along the tube opening so the excess goes back in. This has worked wonders for me and allows for combing as well as the product dispersion.
UPDATE (27-JUN-15): I still use my Geisha Ink mascara every day! I use the newer “The Silk Mascara” but it still works well!

Not volumizing in the least. At the most it defines, nothing more. And doesn’t hold the curl I put in my lashes. Additionally I had a tear while watching a movie and the mascara left fibers under my eyes. (No I wasn’t full on crying.)It is easy to remove but all of these minuses don’t justify the 30 dollar pricetag and the special order. Very disappointed. This is no better than any other of the tubing mascaras I’ve tried like L’Oreal, Clinique, Blinc, DHC, Trish McEvoy etc.

Pros:
After a few years of use I can safely say to me this is the perfect waterproof mascara. Great volume and length while separating and giving a natural yet dramatic look. A million plush, long, very, very black lashes. That’s unique, especially in a waterproof mascara.
Removes easily with only warm water but never smudges or flakes. Wears like iron but feels lightweight and soft.
Cons:
Very nice design. But I wish it was printed on the tube since the sticker soon looks scruffy.
I’m impressed with the friendly service and the consistent, amazingly high quality from this charming and independent company. I most highly recommend their mineral foundation and eyeliner too! Paraben free and exquisitly perfect in their formula.

Whoa! That was my reaction after the artist applied it on one side of my lashes. I cannot believe how full and long it made it. Of course I bought a tube. The tip is to wipe down the brush every 2 weeks or so as the built up on the brush may affect the application. Mine is brand new but this is not a new tip. I have always made it a point to wipe down my mascara wand as soon as it starts to clump. For now, I have full individual lashes that are fat, long and black. Love the result!
