I can finally (finally!!!!!!) say I found my HG mascara. This simply makes me lashes look so lush and so gorgeous. I don’t think I’ll ever bother looking for another mascara ever again.

I have been using Bourjois mascaras for years now, and I had high hopes for this one since they discontinued my favourite, Bourjois Liner Effect mascara. I already have long lashes and am not exactly lacking in volume nor length, but I wanted something to make my eyes pop like Liner Effect does. However, I was really disappointed with this product- I find the wand just plain annoying and it feels like cheap plastic, and doesn’t do much at all. The mascara is time consuming to put on and gives barely any more volume than my Loreal False Lash Wings Butterly Effect Mascara, its just darker black. It also made my lashes look spidery and clumped, only with two coats, and ran/flaked on me- didn’t matter what environment I was in. It is also really hard to get off and for a drugstore mascara, its very overpriced.
I won’t be re purchasing.

My only issue with it is – it is a bit pricey for drugstore. Especially if you are not based in Europe, you will be paying extra, which is almost the same price as something from Sephora. Quality-wise it is great, adds nice volume and doesn’t flake/smudge.

I keep going back to this mascara it is a must have , i love the darkness and the brush it really gives me the lashes I want , it doesn’t flakes at the end of the day , Worth every $ !

My fav mascara by far!.. I use this for special occasions. It coats beautifully each lash and separates each lash fabulously. Love the gimmicky dial- works for me! Lashes always come out perfect full, thick and long! The only downside is that it is a drier formulation… at the end of a night there is some fallout. Still a holy grail item for me!

My all time favourite mascara. Been rebuying it from when I first bought it. It really brings out the best of your lashes and it lasts well all day. It doesn`t stick the lashes together and it makes them incredibly long. But when it starts running out, its not as good anymore. But it`s probably life that with all mascaras. Anyway, I would definitely recommend it!

Best mascara for ever!

I purchased this recently as I wanted an evening mascara to give me a dramatic look. This gives me a dramatic false-lash effect without smudging or flaking. I use the mascara at both settings and I actually really like the brush/es. I used on both eyes without needing to put the wand back in the pump and it dispenses enough formula to give my lashes (upper and lower, left and right) fantastic volume/length/curl. I do use it on my lower lashes (the first setting) as well and am very impressed that it works well, usually mascaras smudge on my lower lashes. My sister is a ‘mascara snob’ who only buys high-end, and this got her interested. I still prefer L’Oreal Volume Million So Couture for day to day though, it looks more natural and is easier to remove.For reference, my eyelashes are fine and average-length. They seriously look like falsies with this mascara.
Pros:
1) False lash effect with no smudging or flaking.
2) Budge-proof, it really does not move.
3) Holds a curl and lasts all day, no need for eyelash curlers.
4) Mine is the ultra-black edition, so it is very black.
Cons:
1) Can look clumpy and give you crunchy-looking, spider-leg lashes, especially with extra coats (one coat with each brush setting is dramatic enough for me though! start from the very base and go up to the tip, you won’t need extra coats). Need to comb through.
2) Difficult and abit time consuming to remove. Fortunately, no eyelash-shedding trying to remove it, so that’s great. I wish there was a non-waterproof version.

This mascara is beautiful and it lasts all day. Better then a lot of higher end brands. Will be repurchasing this.
