I really like this mascara and it the one Im currently using. Not too much product on the brush. I like the brush on this one by the way. The formula comes off easy when Im ready for it to. No flaking etc.
So Yes I would rebuy….until something else tickle my fancy.

Love this mascara! It holds curl well, separates lashes, and cleans up easily. The pigment is great, and the consistency is light and just dry enough to not smudge everywhere. Love it so much.

The brush is weird. I mean it looks weird, but I hoped there is the reason for that. Nope. It’s clunky to use.

Everything about this screams “Better Than Sex Dupe”! the color, the name, and the PERFORMANCE! it even has that slightly clumpy, volumizing action that BTS has, and the same lifting/curling power. Cover Girl has loads of $$$ riding on this success, and they obviously studied a hot performer in the prestige market arena, wanting to bring something like this to the masses.
How to know if you should buy this?
—If you like BTS, you’ll appreciate and like this lower-priced version.
—If you *don’t* like BTS, then you *won’t *like this either.

I like to try new mascaras. Cover Girl comes out with new ones pretty often and one of the latest ones, Total Tease, caught my eye. I liked the packaging and the description of the wand had me curious. I got it home and opened it up straight away. I was very skeptical about brush/wand, it was unlike any other that I’ve tried. I loved it! It perfectly separated my eye lashes. The formula wasn’t too thin or too thick, it was perfect. It doesn’t flake or smear and wears all day very well. So, I am rating this 5 stars. I don’t often repurchase the same brand of mascara (only L’oreal Voluminous) but this is one that I will definitely be repurchasing.

This mascara does make my lashes look nice. It gives length, volume and separation and does not flake throughout the day. The only reason I would not buy again is because I just find the brush awkward to use and there are other mascaras just as good without an awkward and gimmicky brush.

Whenever I buy new mascara, I open the tube, take the wand in and out a few times, and then put it on the shelf for a few weeks. I can’t stand overly wet mascara and this one truly needs to “set” a bit before you test drive it. I made the mistake of applying it right away and I truly hated it. It was too wet, the brush annoyed me, and it flaked.
But a month later, application is much, much MUCH better. Gimmicky wand aside, I got beautiful results with just one coat. This volumizes just enough to look “natural”, it lengthens, no clumping, no lashes stuck together, and the packaging is adorable. The only complaint I could possibly have is that even after letting it dry a bit, there is very minor flaking. Not enough to be a dealbreaker, but as another user noted, it can be irritating if it gets in your eye. Don’t bother with the weird bushy end unless you can make it work, the rest of the wand is just fine.
Update: This is still flaking a bit on me, it seems to have one good month of use and then start to flake again. I’ll still rebuy it, as it’s so close to how I like my lashes to look. If you know a similar formula minus flakes, please PM me!

I disliked this mascara more than Maybelline Great Lash, which is saying a lot since I consider the latter is worst of popular mascaras & their brushes. The “brush” requires you to hold it only one way, so there is no rolling or sweeping through the lashes. It provides no measurable volume, length or definition with one coat, and additional layers are harder to apply than the first coat.
The small half-oval is impossible no matter how you try to use it. It’s also needless: who really needs a different mascara or brush for lower lashes? Strategically blinking or sneezing is easier than that knob!
Because the brush is so terribly ineffective, there’s no reviewing the formula separately on its merits, but I can say fairly it’s inconsistent with each use. It seems to be standard Cover Girl mascara repackaged with a very long, unwieldy comb instead of a brush, with the addition of adding more time onto your cosmetic application in order to use it/wrestle with it.

I consider myself somewhat of a mascara expert and this stuff totally sucks! the formula itself isn’t bad at all. the brush is the issue. I think makeup companies are running out of gimmicky mascara ideas and just creating random brushes that really don’t do anything. The brush it clump city. I’m not sure really what side to use. the result is just a tangled clumpy mess of lashes. Gross.
