I’ve tried every mascara out there. This one has consistently been at the top of the heap for me. It’s my go to and never disappoints. I always get full, thick lashes, top and bottom with no clumps or smudges and it comes off easily with soap and water. Keeper!!

It’s ok. There are plenty of better mascaras. It gives a nice black colour and makes my lashes look thick but it also leaves them a bit clumpy looking and it takes a while to dry.

For Christmas I got both this and benefit they’re real which has been my favourite for years! I’ve been using the soap and glory one everyday. As a direct comparison the thick and fast is definitely a wetter formula, so you have to be a bit more careful when putting it on to make sure it doesn’t get on eyelids etc… But once it has dried it stays put, lasts all day, no flaking and personally I think the overall effect is better than the they’re real – for me I find this to be very lengthening and dramatic, I love the way it makes my lashes look! Just as good for half the price

I really didn’t like this mascara at all. I’d go as far as to say that it was one of the worst mascaras I have ever used.
I got this in one of Soap and Glory’s Christmas gift sets. I didn’t find it thickening or lengthening in the slightest and I found that it wore off really, really quickly. The brush is quite big and chunky (which normally I like) but I didn’t find that it distributed the product well at all.
Although this is a drugstore mascara it is not one of the cheaper drugstore products – it costs £10 in the UK. Most of the Max Factor, L’Oreal and Maybelline mascaras are cheaper than this and, in my opinion, are far superior.
I absolutely love Soap and Glory as a brand. Their skincare and body care is fantastic and there makeup is usually really good. Their archery brow pencil in particular is brilliant. However, I wouldn’t recommend this mascara at all.

This mascara is just not for me. One of the worst mascaras I have used :(. Usually love soap and glory products so it is a shame. I have long lashes, but it barely made any effect at all, and if I apply another coat it makes my eyelashes stick together and make them look spidery. Thumbs down.

I do really like this mascara however I wouldn’t repurchase because there are better ones out there for a better price. The packaging is good and it is easy to hold when applying so you don’t poke yourself in the eye very often. To make this product look nice I have to curl my eyelashes and put on a different cheap mascara as a base coat, then it works at its best.

I actually really quite like the S&G make up but this was a bit of a dud for me. I was hopeful it may have been a substitute for my beloved Benefit BadGal but alas the search goes on. This has a lovely big brush but it just left me with spidery lashes and panda eyes after about an hour. At £9 its not exactly a cheap find for a product that will sit gathering dust in my ‘wish I hadnt bought it drawer’.

I love soap and glory, its cheaper than higher end brands but preforms as well.
Packaging- I love the packaging and the often cheeky, suggestive names of Soap&Glory and this is no exception.
Wear/Feel- The brush is the perfect size, not to large, not too small. It makes it very easy to apply the mascara. The mascara for me, lengthens and slightly curls my lashes. I also do not find my lashes getting clumped. The mascara lasts rather a long time and does not flake. Perfect!! I prefer the formula of the gold cologne version but not the brush, so when the black version I had ran out I transferred the brush over.
Price-
Overall I love the mascaras soap and glory have! I just have a hate thin brushes that a rubber like which I why I switched over the brush from the original.

This is my favourite mascara at the moment! Not a bad price at about £9. Loads of volume and length 🙂 doesn’t clump on my lashes. I’ve tried various Estée Lauder, MAC, Bareminerals etc all expensive and I think this is as good if not better!! 🙂

The formula for this mascara is pretty good if you prefer volume over length; there’s lots of volume, hardly any clumps, and rich colour. I average at 12 hours wear per day, and the mascara has never flaked on me. However; I didn’t like the absence of any lash lengthening, and that this mascara can’t hold any curl.
There doesn’t seem to be anything special about the design of the brush – regular bristles and standard shape – but for some reason I always end up with mascara on my lids and browbone,
There’s not much to say for Thick & Fast – it’s not a bad mascara, just not one that stood out for me. I don’t feel as though I can recommend this product to anybody at the end of the day, as so many mascaras at this price point perform better.
