   I’m on my second tube of this and I can’t live without it! I try a lot of other mascaras, especially since Anna Sui is now only sold in their own boutiques? (I couldn’t find it in any department stores)
   It is seriously waterproof, which I like even for everyday wear because it doesn’t leave smudges around my eyes. It applies evenly, without clumping, but doesn’t do much to volumize, which is fine because I just apply it over my volumizing mascara for a waterproofing layer. It removes pretty easily with eye makeup remover (I use Clinique take the day off). The only complaint I have is the packaging..for some reason mascara clumps around the opening so I have to wipe it off occasionally. Great product, definitely my HG!

   let me start off by saying that im an absolute mascara addict. i allways get worried during the summer because i know that pools, the ocean, etc.. (basically lots of other water) will be involved, and im stuck with a dilema; i want to wear mascara when im in the water (i feel so weird without it), but ive never found a mascara thats actually waterproof to the point where i can swim with it on & it wont budge.

   im leaving for the beach in a couple of days and decided id try, AGAIN, to find a waterproof mascara i could use while im there. i came across reviews for the anna sui super waterproof mascara on here & it sounded like exactly what i needed. so i went online & ordered some (thought i could at least give it a shot). the actually mascara was like $24 i think.. and once they added shipping & handling and all that funstuff my total was right at $30.

   so, about the actual mascara. it got here today. the packaging is pretty basic; cute but nothing special. it applies wonderfully, not too clumpy or anything. builds volume very nicely. i didnt notice that it added much length, but i have longish eyelashes anyway. overall, its probably one of the better mascaras ive tried.

   but of course, the main thing i wanted to know was if it was waterproof. so after putting a coat of the mascara on & letting it dry, i filled up the bathroom sink with water & dunked my head in (silly i know, but i dont currently have a pool on hand to test it in, so that had to do). i am thrilled to say that it stayed on PERFECTLY :D. i even rubbed my eyes dry with a towel and the mascara stayed in place exactly how it was when i put it on.

   i am soooooo beyond happy that i found this mascara! it was exactly what i needed; cant say enough good things about it =]

   [oh i forgot to mention, it has a flowery scent to it. i wasnt bothered by it, but some might be. it was pretty strong.. but it seems like it fades. probably notta big deal to most people.]

   I’m surprised I haven’t reviewed this before, since this has been my almost-HG mascara for about a year now (although the search for my HG mascara has started up again … just bought a new one today!). This mascara does build SOME volume (although not as much as I would like) and doesn’t deflate my eyelash curl at all. It also holds nicely – no smudgies at the end of the day. And the ultimate test – I went swimming with my kids and DH yesterday and hadn’t removed my mascara – and nothing! No grayness under the eyes or running mascara – it held on beautifully!

   The only teeny problem with this mascara is that I would love for it to be MORE volumizing (although maybe I should just stop being so picky).
