   I was given a generous sample size from Space NK. Brush is nice and in theory, should curl lashes up – it did add some volume but no curl. Mascara didn’t run, so for someone active you can be assured this is waterproof. However its not one I would buy – Clinique High Impact waterproof does a much better job

   I got this mascara in a Beautyfix subscription box. Very cute packaging, and I like the brush. However, as some of the other reviewers have said, it does nothing for volume or lash enhancement. I had no problems with it smearing or running, and it does seem waterproof, so that’s a plus. But it’s definitely for a more “natural” look rather than darkening or enhancing lashes. I discovered that it works really well over regular mascara as sort of a sealer, so if you are looking for something to set your regular mascara, this might work well for you. I’ve started doing that with this mascara, and it’s working well for me.

   I have eyes that water and so most, if not all mascaras, smudge on the bottom of my waterline and down my face without fail. In terms of smudge proof, I doubt it. It actually lasted well throughout my 12 hour day however I would not trust this for swimming or any water activity as I don’t think it’s as waterproof as it may claim. It did last through my watery eyes but not when I splashed my face with water.

   This made my eyelashes darker, but offered no volume or length. It’s very natural, which is great if you already have amazing lashes but for asian lashes – this did nothing for me.

   I wouldn’t recommend it, though I don’t hate this product. I’ll continue to use it because it’s better than not wearing mascara but I am glad I bought the smaller size. The hunt for the perfect waterproof/smudge proof mascara continues.

   I was pleasantly surprised by this mascara. It was included in a bonus gift with purchase. It is my first Korean brand make-up item. First I love how the brush applies the formula. Separated my lashes, no need to comb with separate lash brush. It comes in a squeeze tube so you can essentially feel how much product is in the tube. Formula is waterproof. I know it’s tearproof. Removal is a breeze if you oil cleanse. Great black color. I find if leave me with naturally looking but black colored eyelashes. No smudges, no flakes. If you are looking for “falsies” this mascara will not work for you. If you want “your own but better” give this a try.. Pricey, but comparable to other HE mascaras.

   First, a note: although this bills itself as “The Original Tube Mascara,” it is NOT a *tubing* mascara, it just comes in a squeezy tube.

   Review: It goes on a little clumpy, doesn’t add or keep curl, then smudges & flakes. This would be poor performance from a drugstore mascara, but for one costing 26 USD, it’s completely ridiculous. Will be returning.

   I bought this product based on the advertisement that it is waterproof and I usually wear waterproof mascaras. I ordered this online and was excited to try it out. Unfortunately, it did not live up to my expectations. The mascara comes in a white and black tube with writing on it and the brush it comes up with is flat and curved. I’m not sure how I feel about the brush itself as it feels a bit awkward applying on the lashes. Not my go-to brush personally. I like the tubing packaging like all the other Eyeko mascaras. Makes it easier to get more product. The product itself is black with fibers in it. Like the previous reviewer said, it definitely does not give any volume at all. It is so extremely natural that you may as well not wear any mascara at all. It is waterproof but again, what would be the point of wearing any if you can’t even see it on your lashes unless you already have a full set of lashes to begin with then I’m not sure what this mascara does. I have worn this mascara to work out and yes, it does not budge. Did not smudge much if any. I am unsure how well this mascara removes as no matter which waterproof mascara I wear, I always use the MUFE Sens Eyes remover to take it off then remove with regular eye makeup remover. But I’m assuming it would be fairly easy to remove since there’s not much thickening agents in the formula itself. I did not note any scent to the product. Would not repurchase as it did not do much to my lashes.

   Eyeko claims this mascara will help “create dramatic lashes plumped to perfection” but unless you’re blessed with a full set of thick dark lashes, this will do no such thing.

   Pros:
   – waterproof
   – cruelty free
   – defines lashes
   – cute packaging
   – interesting brush shape allows for good application (shaped like a cobra about to attack)

   Cons:
   – black is not black enough
   – lash look is not dramatic unless you are blessed with a full set of natural lashes
   – fiber formula may irritate eyes (they look like little clothing fibers)
   – leaves lashes feeling slightly crunchy

   This is good if you need a waterproof mascara for daytime/natural looks, but if you’re looking for drama/volume, look elsewhere (such as Too Faced better than sex waterproof mascara). Basically the lash look promo that Teni Panosian has for this product is exactly what I got too, except I have way fewer lashes than she does (cries):
