When I first opened this mascara, it was quite a wet formula and I didn’t like it much. Then about a week later, it was wonderful! Smooth and nicely volumizing. Not very lengthening, which is fine for me bc I have long lashes and I just want volume. Then the next week, it became a clumpy disaster! I’ve never had a mascara change consistency as quickly as this one. Had to throw it out after trying and trying all that week to make it work. It was on sale so I didn’t spend much, but still, only getting a couple of weeks of wear out of a mascara ar any price is too much.

Meh. I heard great things about this mascara, so maybe my expectations were too high, but I was not impressed. The first time I used it, I thought it was horrible. After a week or so, I liked how it looked. Then I hated it again after about two weeks. I have used worse mascaras, but I had hoped this one would work better for me than it did.
I do have very stubborn lashes, and sensitive eyes, so not many mascaras work well for me. My lashes mostly point straight or downward, and they’re pretty average in fullness and length. All, or at least most, of my issues could be because my lashes aren’t great.
It’s not a super dry or wet formula (but I think I remember it being closer to a wet formula when it was brand new), but it would not hold a curl in my lashes and it was flaky and easily smudged from the beginning. The exception to not holding a curl was for that brief period during which it looked pretty good. It didn’t hold a curl well at that time, but it was ok. It wasn’t particularly volumizing or lengthening for me, but it did ok with darkening my lashes.
While I was using this mascara, I would immediately remove my makeup when I got home, no matter how long I’d been wearing it or what time it was. (Usually, I can wait until just before I go to bed to remove my makeup.) It was just so flaky I couldn’t stand it, and I also lost some lashes while using it. I don’t know for sure, but I feel like it really dried my lashes out. Maybe that was a coincidence, but they definitely feel softer since I stopped using this one.
I had issues trying to layer this one, too. If I didn’t let it dry long enough between coats, it was a clumpy mess. If I waited too long, it was a clumpy mess. I usually either had the 5 giant lashes look, or a mix of that with tiny clumps mixed in. I think I only got it to look nice about four times that I wore it, and I never knew exactly what I did differently those times. I think it was just luck.
What I did kind of like was the shape of the brush. It’s pretty narrow and tapers nicely, so I was better able to reach the smaller lashes at my inner corner than with larger brushes.
A lot of people seem to really like it, but I didn’t. Maybe I got a dud, but I won’t be repurchasing it to find out because there are too many mascaras out there to potentially waste money twice on the same product. My advice is to look up reviews before buying it and see if the people who love it have also loved mascaras that have worked for you.
