I swear by this mascara! I am a mascara junkie and wouldn’t like to think about how much money I have spent and wasted on trying different brands. I love fairly thick mascaras that give plenty of volume because my eyelashes are naturally quite long and this is easily one of the best that I have tried. Mascaras that rival the w7 include guerlain and clinique high impact, both of which are around the £20 mark, whereas w7 costs me £1.75 from my loyal discount store (or £3 off Amazon). I honestly can’t fault it, it is now the only one I buy because anything else feels like a rip off, I cannot justify paying more for a worse mascara. Having said this, I have tried other w7 mascaras and they have been awful, so definitely stick to Showing out! (Orange tube)

I LOVE W7’s Big Lash mascara, but that doesn’t mean I’m not willing to try any of their others as they have so many to choose from. However, I’m also a great believer of the adage ‘less is more’ and in the case of the other mascaras in the W7 line-up, so far they’ve been nothing but disappointing. And sadly this is another one to add to the bin pile…
This was horrible to use – the wand looked like a weapon of torture, the mascara itself was so thick it was almost like custard and the finished result, once I’d finally managed to apply it to my eyelashes, was a black, clumpy, disgusting mess. I thought at first I’d gotten a tube which had been opened in the store and as a result the air had gotten to it, but then I remembered that I’d taken off the hygiene wrapper before I started using it, so I couldn’t even use that as an excuse as to why this was such a poor product.
The W7 website claims this ‘has a unique brush which not only creates intense volume but the carefully created circular end helps you coat the difficult areas of the eye’. In reality it does none of this. Sadly I used this twice and then threw it away as I knew I’d never use it again.
