I got this super cheap on sale at Coles and boy am I GLAD I didn’t pay full price for this.

Rimmel claims this mascara will “plump and curl lashes” for an “eyeconic 60’s look”. I applied it in the morning to already curled lashes and within half an hour I had droopy sad looking lashes. Despite the formula being waterproof (which is what you want if you’re going to work!) it didn’t help to hold curl AT ALL. By the end of the day I had droopy sad looking lashes and raccoon eyes because, despite being “waterproof” this smudged like nobodies business. Wasn’t too happy to look like a pirate at work.

In terms of application I don’t find that the big hourglass shaped brushed made it any easier for me, I think it actually made application to the centre lashes harder! Perhaps if the brush was smaller and they changed the formula this would be a mascara I’d be willing to pay more than $6 for.

My favorite mascara hands down. it lasts all day. With multiple layers my lashes achieve the look I am going after.

It does a great job providing curl, length and volume to my lashes. I love the wand and found it super easy to use. The mascara applied evenly and smoothly on my lashes with no clumps.
