This was the first mascara I consistently used! But I’m not particularly nostalgic about it. I used the waterproof version. It lengthens lashes considerably and keeps them fairly separated, but isn’t really natural/fluttery looking. I have black lashes, but the formula seemed very darkening for someone looking for that property. It can be dry and flaky over time. It stays on very well… much too well. It was the bane of my existence to get off on the end of the day. For the averageness of its performance, I give it an ‘okay’.

I used to LOVE Rimmel mascaras but this is the 3rd I bought recently and found simply unusable! Everything is “wrong” with this: the brush (too big/chunky), the formula (takes ages to dry and flakes), and the results (barely any volume increase, clumps, smudges). All in all I think I’m going to forget about Rimmel mascaras! I’ve wasted too much money on at least 3 kinds which ended up in the garbage.

I like how this mascara makes my eyelashes look. Not too spidery, but definitely longer and darker and bigger. It’s not clumpy – in fact it’s weirdly smooth. The same sort of effect when you paint your nails and it all sort of melts together to conceal brush strokes – that’s the kind of texture this mascara has.
However, it takes a long time to dry. Which is a pain for me because I wear glasses and it always gets on the lenses.
It gets a little flaky with long wear, which can be uncomfortable. It’s not waterproof, which I vastly prefer, so removal is indeed easy as the packaging says.
I’ve definitely had worse mascaras, but I’ll be looking for a better drugstore mascara when it’s time to throw this one out.

Did not like this mascara . It made my lashes dry and one by one they started to fall . .The positive thing about this mascara is that it makes my lashes look long natrual . Overall hate this product recommend people to not buy this

This mascara doesn’t add much volume at all, and it gave my lashes that sparse, spindly look.
It doesn’t clump at all (though I did have to separate my lashes with a comb) and it removes easily, but those are the only positive things I can say about it.

I bought the waterproof version of this as I found my L’Oréal manga mascara melting and smudging under my eyes. It was a just a quick fix product I bought for NYE, based on the fact that I’ve tried and liked a few of rimmels mascaras in the past. This mascara was, however, awful! Like complaints of the many other reviewers, there is literally no volume produced what so ever. Worse than that though, this waterproof version takes so long to dry that i couldn’t so much as blink without the product dotting under my eyes. After waiting a few minutes, yes minutes, I would go in with a cotton bud to remove the dots, only to find that the mascara was still wet and I would end up smudging more of the product under my eyes! Exactly what I was trying to avoid! It’s just the worst.

This mascara is such a disappointment. I just loved Rimmel’s standard Scandaleyes which I’ve bought multiple times, so I trusted this product to be overwhelming too. NOT. No matter how many layers of mascara I put on, NOTHING.CHANGES. It’s like I don’t have it on at all. Doesn’t split lashes well, absolutely 0 volume and length boost.
The only good thing they didn’t lie about was that it comes off easily with warm water, you simply pull mascara layers off the single wet lash, you barely need make up remover afterwards and that’s really cool.
The brush seems good, but I think the main problem here is the formulation of mascara itself. It may come off easily now, but that’s so not worth the poor lashes look.

This is the worst mascara I have ever tried in my life (and I try a lot believe me you!). I can’t think of a single person, who would even remotely like it. It does NOTHING to the lashes, like at all. I sometimes wonder if it is even there or not.
I know some YouTubers promote it for the sake of advertising, but not to sound like a party pooper, be warned that this mascara is beyond awful. Read more details on my blog ( ). Even though it is affordable and Cara looks hot in the ad, I can think of a million other drugstore mascaras which are hundred times better and at least live up to their claims. Avoid!

All mascaras smudge on me . This one is not bad. It smudges a but eventually. I was actually shocked that it didnt smudge quickly . I wore it for 6 hours and no smudging and then I wore it another time for less time and it smudged a bit. That’s a record. I don’t really consider this Tubing mascara bc it comes off easily with water, it doesn’t come off as tubes. It’s does give some length and volume. I like to wipe it n Kleenex before I put it on ffor a cleaner look. I was using clinique high impact curling which is tube mascara but it’s hard to take off, you have to keep putting cotton pads and water over your eyes and it’s quite time consuming and irritating . I rated this a 3 bc It gave me 6 hour wear and no smudging plus it doesn’t seem to have parabens but I don’t like the way my lashes look with it. It’s was fine. I wish I had more options .

Yes! An affordable tubing mascara that performs well! It does not give lots of volume, but is buildable, definitely noticeable, and removes very easily with warm water. It is a very nice alternative to my usual Blinc Amplified, much more affordable, and way easier to remove than L’Oreal Miss Manga Rock Waterproof (which I still prefer when I want more oomph, but the removal, oh, the removal…) and Cover Girl Super Sizer and Clump Crusher, the only mascaras so far I can use without ending up looking like a panda.
EDIT: Lowering rating to two lippies. After a couple of weeks, the mascara is not performing as reliably as initially. I end up smearing half my eyelids when trying to apply – the mascara is thicker, and the brush ends up with too much. It still does not smear during the day, but it is quite hard to remove, and even after warm water and several passes of Micellar water, I end up with smeared undereyes.
Sigh. The search continues.
