In the nicest possible way, this mascara has ruined me! After buying it on a complete whim and not expecting it to do much (it only cost me £2.00 after all), I can honestly say that it’s become my HG, hands down, go to, favourite mascara! So much so, I’ve since been back to Primark and bought two more tubes just in case they run out of/discontinue it.
For me, this is everything a mascara should be. The formulation is just right – not too wet, not too dry; the colour is a great shade of mid-black, not so dark it’ll cake your lashes, but not so light you won’t be able to see a difference once it’s on; and the plastic wand is the perfect size and shape, meaning even those little, light lashes in the inner corners are easily reached. It dries quickly, layers very well and it doesn’t clump at all.
The packaging is decent too considering the price and is definitely comparable to drugstore brands. It certainly doesn’t feel cheap when you’re holding it and is small enough not to feel bulky or awkward.
I got a good 2 month’s worth of use out of this, using it pretty much every day, before it finally dried up (at which point I went out and bought the two back-up tubes). I would definitely recommend this to everyone and anyone who’s looking for a great quality mascara without the price tag – just be warned that after using it, you might find it impossible to get another mascara elsewhere that matches up!!
