I haven’t felt this strongly positive about a mascara in a minute. This stuff is super decent, especially for an elf mascara. I’m a little worried that people are reviewing it under elf’s “volume plumping” mascara or something (which is really the brand’s fault for naming two products so similarly…), because otherwise I feel like this would have good reviews. Their mascara is pretty awful anymore, but this is a gem. It’s got a brush that’s great for lifting, and it’s super buildable and black. One coat can look natural if that’s your thing, but two or three can get you some good drama. It’s lengthening and volumizing, not clumpy, and lasts a good long while without flaking or smudging. I find that my lashes look pretty feathery and aren’t weighed down by this formula, even though I like to wear quite a lot of mascara.
