This review is for the Ultra black version of the Bourjois 1 Seconde mascara, there are reviews for the normal black colour on makeupalley separate to this.

This is hands down the best Mascara I’ve ever tried and I have tried loads, cheap, expensive, hyped and unhyped but nothing has made my lashes this long and full – normally mascaras either make my lashes fuller or longer but not both, this one does both and trust me I have the piddliest little lashes ever, especially since being in my forties. It is also very, very black. I have posted a photo to show how amazing it is, I’m wearing 2 coats on one eye and none on the other. My hunt for the perfect mascara is finally over.
Also this mascara doesn’t smudge, fade or flake at all throughout the day. I put it on at around 8am and it’s still the same when I come to remove it at bedtime, around 11pm.
