This is my go to mascara. I like a very definite, dramatic lash look. I want maximum volume and length, without having to do coat after coat. This manages that for me. I’m not mad about the clumping, but this is easily sorted with a q tip and Bioderma H20. I wish it was sold sealed. The price is ok, I tend to get it when it’s on offer. It seems low stock in lots of places atm, I do hope it’s not being discontinued. I tried the Hippy one from the same range and was disappointed.
I also like Lancome macaras but find I get through them too quickly to justify the price. I feel high street mascaras are fine. I’ve had at least 3 of these and will buy more.

This is probably the first time I’ve ever had a mascara do exactly what it promises to do. Totally agree with the reviews that say this gives you spider lashes. It does exactly that, in a good way, and that’s what it’s advertised to do. It instantly gives an insanely overloaded messy punky look. This is my favourite mascara for going out clubbing (bear in mind I tend to favour a grungy look when going out), it looks amazing with smudged dark eyeshadow. It definitely does not look natural, or pretty, and would be too intense and too clumpy for me in any other circumstances.

Absolutely horrible, the wand is literally mads to give you spiderlashes, all my lashes clumped to 3 huge and ugly ones, and in Sweden, the model has spiderlashes as well, so as I said, literally mads for uglyness

Its brilliant. I coat once with Loreal Voluminous Butterfly Intenza Black mascara (you can use any mascara) and then do a second coat with this one in black. This mascara transfers loads of product in very few sweeps and you get thick coated spikey Manga lashes. If you want natural and not spikey then dont get this.

I really wish I could continue using this.
It adds so much volume and length it looks like I’m wearing fake lashes. A quick run through with a metal comb gets rid of clumps. It never smudges yet washes off easily with soap and water, I very rarely find this combination.
My issue is the FLAKES. Every time I use this I find tons of little mascara flakes around my eyelids and occasionally on my nose, cheeks, etc… I’m jealous of people who don’t have this problem with Miss Manga Punky as I really do love everything else about it.

In the past few weeks I’ve purchased 3 of the drug-store “newbies”: CG Supersizer, Maybelline’s Colossal Chaotic & now L’Oreal’s Miss Manga’s Punky / Rock. This is my favorite of the 3, (& the last mascara purchase for a while now). Don’t get me wrong, the other 2 are alright, but just not as “magical” as I find this. Manga (Punky) /Rock’s pure instant gratification as it just works in a rapid manner. Immense length & volume in one stroke! Its got a nice luscious rich / jet black formula too. It’s wand / brush is like no other I’ve seen or used (& that says a lot for a mascara hoarder. M.R. / M.P. applies so thickly which is what one like me, w/ long skimpy / sparse lashes requires. However, it travels up my lashes from root to tip in an even-ish manner yet grouping lashes together to give me an amazingly voluminous fringe. Unfortunately cost me $11.25 CAD (Toronto) even at the Walmart, but well worth it as I prefer it over the many high-end samples I receive at X-Mas time. One coat packs quite a punch in itself, tho after 2 it looks like I’m wearing clusters of couture / run-way type falsies. Meanwhile, my lashes don’t feel or look crispy / stiff. I only HOPE that UN-like it’s beautiful sibling (Miss Manga) it won’t dry out & become un-usable after 6 wks. LOVE it – Holy grail material indeed!!

I purchased this product a few months ago. I am an absolute mascara hoarder so I have to try every new mascara that I can find. Having previously purchasing the normal miss manga mascara and being very disappointed I didn’t have very high hopes for this BUT I actually really really love this it gives your lashes a super thick black look and lengthens brilliantly. This is is my mascara must haves.

Miss Manga Punky has the mega volume, good lengthening abilities, and rich black colour that the original Miss Manga has, but has a different kind of bendy wand (this time the brush itself is bendy) to give lashes a spiky shape which makes the lashes look even more voluminous.
It has a wet Formula so it clumps. But that is the whole point to this mascara, so you have to expect a wet formula. It hasn’t flaked on me though, so that is a big plus in Miss Manga Punky’s favour.
Miss Manga Punky isn’t what I’d call a bad mascara, as it does what it promises and has a non-flaking formula that doesn’t dry up quickly, but I personally wouldn’t buy this again. No bad reason for this; if you’re looking for a ‘wham bam’ statement mascara then I’d suggest trying this.
Personally? I like grungy, slightly undone makeup, but I still find the full-on ‘punky’ look this mascara gives too dramatic for my tastes, so have to apply this sparingly and carefully. However I whole heartily recommend the original Miss Manga to everyone – it offers the fantastic volume, length & rich colour of this version, but doesn’t give the highly visible clumpy texture to lashes.

I really like the Miss Manga mascara so bought this one as I’m a big fan of plastic wands.
Worst. Mascara. Ever.
I absolutely love a dramatic lash look and clumpy. There’s clumpy, then there’s ALL YOUR LASHES STICKING TOGETHER AS ONE. Wow.
That’s all I have to say. I hate it. I so wanted to love it!
