I love this mascara! It is dual ended, with one side being a typical sized mascara wand (both sides are actual bristles, not plastic/silicone wand) and the other side being SUPER skinny, exactly the same size as Maybelline Lash Discovery. Pigment is really black, which I love. Works AWESOME as a top coat, but can be worn alone or as a lash “pick me up”. Doesn’t smudge. I do use it with primer though, so I don’t know if that makes a difference. I would put it up against any high end mascara I have ever used and will definitely repurchase, esp since it’s only about $4.

I’m really happy with this new mascara from Wet N Wild! I haven’t tried the original Mega Plump, but this double ended one with an upper lash and lower lash side is pretty great! It’s a cheaper, better mascara similar to Maybelline’s Big Eyes.
Both brushes are standard bristles (not plastic or rubber brushes/combs) and the lower lash side is a skinnier, smaller brush. Both brushes work well for their task: coating each lash and building the mascara without creating clumps or a mess.
The formula is probably the same in both sides, just with the brushes being the difference. The upper lash formula (if it is different) is a nice, if not jet, black color with good pigmentation. It gives really good, natural-looking (not false lash) volume and an overall thicker, darker and defined lash look. The lower lash formula seems slightly lighter in color (or I just apply it with a lighter hand) and covers each little lash so that they stand out without looking garish. Both formulas (or the formula, if it’s the same) are a little on the dry side but still very buildable.
At under $2, this mascara creates lovely lashes for next to no cost. The only drawbacks are the drier formula (I just prefer one that is more wet, but that’s a personal preference and it really doesn’t negatively impact this mascara anyway) and the small quantity of formula, which is typical of double-ended mascaras. It has definitely become a permanent fixture in my makeup drawer and I reach for it every time I’m doing “night-out” makeup now. Definitely recommend.
