I ordered a mascara set directly from Stila. It gooped all over the wand and the eyeliner was thick and smeared. I called and asked for a refund since I had read this happens with the mascara (after I ordered it). They made me fill out a questioner, send photos, including the stamped number on the bottom of the mascara. They asked if I wanted a refund or replacement since it was defective. I said it was not defective, it was apparently a design glitch and wanted a refund. They sent me a shipping label. I had to contact them several times to acknowledge the receipt of the product. THEN I got a refund for $8 because they charged me for shipping ($5.95) so I paid $14 and got back $8. I wrote them that I was unsatisfied and had they made even the smallest effort I’d be a customer for life. They responded that their website mentioned the rules on “non-refundable” orders. There were at least 4 emails exchanged with no mention of shipping charges and the point of the questioner and photos was to evaluate the credibility of the return, I suppose. All in all, I spent about 6 hours on this and wrote the better business bureau. I have NEVER reported a company to the BBB. Please do not support Stila. I may post the letter I wrote them in another entry, this is long enough :).

Why the low reviews, this makes my lash look long and fluttery. They stay that way all day. however, to be fair my lashes are pretty decent on their own, but this baby gives them that exra oomph for a flirty and sweet look.

I have been desperately searching for a mascara that would not only volumize, but lengthen my short, volume-less eyelashes. I was walking around Sephora when this Stila mascara caught my eye. I bought it (a little expensive, but totally worth it) and it made my eyelashes full and long without making them clump. Although I loved this product, I thought I might be able to find a mascara that did the same thing but had a cheaper price. I switched to Lash Blast, but it did not have the same effect as Stila had. Lash blast was much too thick and made my lashes clump and did not give them the length that Stila did. I threw out Lash Blast and I have been using Stila for my everyday makeup ever since. I love it so much; the packaging is great, it works so well, and the price may be slightly high, but you definitely get what you pay for. I will never switch mascara again <3 <3 <3

Whoever thought negatively about Stila’s mascara should definitely reconsider their opinion after they try Stila’s new mascaras. They have definitely improved a lot. I heard about a new mascara coming out call “glamour eyes mascara” and was lucky enough to sample it. It is simply A-MA-ZING! I need help in the length, volume, and quantity department when it comes to my eyelashes and this new one really does the trick. I saw an instant difference when I applied it.
grizzledEagle6
Okay, this mascara came in the sephora sampler and I also got a free full size one with some value pack (blanking on the name). There is a reason this is always a freebie! This is really terrible; no lengthening, no volumizing, nothing. Either Stila has to reformulate this mascara or get out of the mascara business. Even the sephora brand mascara did more (and it had its own issues). If you are a stila girl/woman and feel the need to try this mascara, please get it free, if possible. Then you cannot be disappointed that you could’ve use your money more wisely.
guiltySyrup0
Ugh, this mascara totally sucks!
It flaked and by the end of the day I had dark circles under my eyes from the smudge of mascara flakes. Gross. What a waste of money.
pridefulBobolink5
This was my first Stila product. It is way too clumpy. I do not recommend it.
cautiousThrushe2
I did not care for this mascara at all. I disliked that my lashes had to be free of any cream, sunscreen or other cosmetic in order for this to adhere properly. I applied this to cleansed dry lashes and still disliked the outcome. This required many layers to acheive adequate effect and on me flaked terribly. I bought a beautiful shade of royal blue that although pretty didn’t look dramatic applied. Tubing is great for some but thoroughly useless to me. Lastly, I lost quite a few lashes while using this. Into the trash this went.
mereDotterel9
I had no problems with the application or removal of the product, however I did loose many eyelashes while using the mascara.
I will stop using it immediately.
dreadfulBaboon4
used it 2x so far and both times my eyes watered and stung, i cant be 100% sure bc lately ive had to work overtime so my eyes could just be tired. will have to try it more to be certain.
i dont have really have sensitive eyes, i can tolerate most mascaras, but there is something in here i think might be triggering something, will have to update this soon

I wanted to love this mascara so badly, but it just doesn’t work for me. Having stick straight lashes, I usually can only use waterproof mascaras to keep the curl, which can be quite damaging on my lashes if I’m not careful about removal. I was exciting to try a tubing mascara to make the removal process easier. I’ll start with the good- It DOESN’T SMUDGE, no matter how humid it is outside or how watery it gets. The tubing aspect of that is really helping with the long wear of this mascara. It also removes really easily – just as the instructions say. I apply some warm water, or wash my face with slightly warm water, and this slides right off without removing any of my lashes. However, for my small eyes, the brush doesn’t coat my lashes very well at all, and I always make a big mess on my eyelids. It also doesn’t help hold any curl at all, so as soon as I apply, it just droops my lashes back into a slightly longer version of my straight, slightly downward pointing lashes. It basically looks as if I didn’t apply any mascara and just tinted my lashes instead. I’m glad I tried this, but definitely won’t buy again.
dejectedTuna6
I recently switched to this mascara after hearing wonderful things about it and after using it for a few weeks I am so happy that I switched! I never have raccoon eyes at the end of the day anymore which means I can go about my day without constantly worrying about my mascara smudging/running.
exactingGnu8
I read through a few of the negative reviews but no one mentioned the issue I had with this mascara.
First off, the brush was your classic shape, it applied thinly but wet. It didn’t fan out my lashes, just slightly curled it. The results were decent but nothing impressive. My real problem with it came when I had to wash it off. I did exactly what it stated in the directions. I applied warm water and GENTLY massaged off. Then I saw a few of my lashes fall out within the small specks of mascara that came off. I lost a total of 6 eyelashes during one removal. I don’t know if I did anything wrong but all I know is that I won’t be using this again.
cynicalOrange6
Meh. I do enjoy very natural-looking mascaras sometimes, but I need them to hold a curl in that case, and this one just doesn’t. Too wet, I can literally see my just-curled lashes start to droop as soon as I put it on. Most mascaras do that on me to some extent, to be fair, but some I can work with. This one, no. Sometimes it flakes on me, too.
unhappyCamel2
I find myself reaching for this daily…and I have many high end mascaras!
I love that I can put on one light coat…or build it up to three without clumping…it lengthens and thickens in just the best way. The best part is it literally stays put all day…I have tested it skiing, gardening, working out and it just looks as lovely at the end of the day as it did when applied. No flaking, smudging…and, it has some nourishing ingredients.
It also comes off very easily and thoroughly with a cleansing oil…I may have found my HG after trying dozens of other mascara…

I work in a big cosmetic surgery office & medical spa that carries Colorescience for Lord knows what reason. It has to be the worst, most overpriced makeup brand I’ve ever tried.
My eyes are sensitive and have been watering more lately after I apply my fab drugstore mascara, so I thought I’d try this natural mascara. I thought t would be healthy for my lashes too. Awful! It seemed dried out/old when I opened it. It clumped and flaked. And worse, I had to apply 4 coats to get the same effect as one coat of my Maybelline or L’Oreal mascaras.
shamefulSardines7
Absolutely hated it, this is the most horrible mascara ever. i bought it because I was buying a bunch of Colorescience stuff( that I love) and got the mascara and hate it very much!
zestyGranola8
I’ve tried to change my whole makeup and skin care products to natural or organic since my pregnancy. Sadly I have to admit that as far as the brands I’ve tried, natural makeup does not live up to my expectation at all. Maybe this is just the way it is. Makeup wise most natural products does not perform well. This product is one of the many natural makeup products. It’s not bad but not good either. It’s just a mascara that does not offer length or volume but people can tell u are wearing some makeup. As a waterproof mascara, its relatively easy to take off and u don’t have to rub at all which is quite good, but I do think there is not much product in the packaging or maybe the brush just don’t pick up products well so I have to really dig into the tin try to get some more product, and again it’s not that builtable as well.it failed in the overall effect that a nowadays mascara should provide.
tautBass3
This is a very “easy on the eyes” waterproof mascara. It does not add length or thickness but it does stay on and last all day. Gives a more natural look on me. Easy to remove with regular cleanser. Won’t repurchase because I am still trying other waterproof mascras out. Price is $25 a tube. Comes packaged in a bronzed gold metal tube.
solemnFlamingo2
yeah well the holy grail mascara project never ends , does it? 🙂 I think this is good for people who prefer drier formulas. I personally like that I do not get the product all over my lids and everything like I do with wetter products. The brush is a good one too, packs the right amount for me. I did not experience smudging throughout the day but then my undereye tends to be dry …
ardentOil0
This mascara didn’t do much for me. I have oily skin so it did smudged on me. It also flaked like crazy. I am blessed in the lashes department with thick and fairly full lashes and this did nothing for them. In fact, I’m better off with no mascara at all. Hate the wand too. It is much too big. This was my first purchase in the natural mascara market and it may be my last.
pleasedLemur0
For starters, I wish this came in brown as I prefer brown mascara. I decided to give this a try anyway.
My first impression was that the wand looks cheap. The bristles are uneven and one sticks way out.
My second impression was that there is WAY too much product on the wand and it applies like a total disaster. I have to wipe/squeeze out a LOT of product into a tissue before I can apply this, meaning losing probably half the tube down the toilet.
After a rocky start (washing it off, reducing product on the wand, reapplying) the results are satisfactory but it doesn’t wow me. Minimal clumping.
As the day wears on it doesn’t smudge but it flakes a little.
It washes off easily with water, rubs off even easier should you scratch your eyelid etc, and stings my eyes.
This is not a bad mascara per se and may be worth a shot. It doesn’t have a lot of the problems many organic/natural mascaras have. However I’m not a fan of essentially flushing money down the toilet and still prefer brown mascaras. It’s a total dud for me.

UPDATE 10/17/18: I am adding a lippie and here’s why: Lily Lolo darkens my thin lashes, adds slight volume and separates. It is easy to remove and CONDITIONS my lashes as well. There is NO clumping of lashes. And it looks nice without flaking!! Downfall is the plastic packaging and wand cap breaks. Lancome’s Defincils was once my “go to” mascara for many years. No doubt this formula has changed as it clumps my lashes together, looks dull and does not grab all my lashes.
———-
I am slowly transitioning to the more “natural” or “pure” cosmetics and I have already begun to notice a definite overall improvement in my skin. I would compare Lily Lolo’s mascara to a “lighter” version of Defincils. It darkens and defines my lashes with minimal volume without any lengthening. The wand is larger than I prefer and sometimes the product clumps on the end of the wand so I have to use a tissue to remove it. A positive is this mascara does not flake and removes easily without tugging. If you are seeking a dramatic look — look elsewhere. This is a lovely daytime mascara that has not irritated my eyes. It’s expensive $19.50 from Credo Beauty, but perhaps it can be purchased for less online. I would not repurchase because of the price.
gutturalPlover8
This is by far my favorite vegan and cruelty-free mascara! I’ve basically tried them all. “Natural” makeup gets a bad rap sometimes, but I would never know this was one of them. It’s definitely on par with any other popular mascara. Reminds me of a slightly less intense Too Faced BTS mascara.
curiousSeagull6
This is the best green beauty mascara that I have tried. I find the performance equal to my Lancôme Hypnose that I also use. I’m not quite there yet, but I’m thinking this will be permanently replacing my Lancôme. It washes off well and I did not experience any flaking. To me, it looked the same at the end of the day from when I applied it that morning.
gutturalHeron6
This mascara seems to have a bit of a cult following in the online green beauty community. I was excited to try it after reading the rave reviews. This mascara clumped on me terribly, more so than any mascara that I have ever used. I have to wipe the wand on a tissue before applying. Even then the mascara still deposits too much product on my lashes.
I don’t think that it added much length, it added more volume. I prefer a lengthening mascara.
My other two favorite natural mascara are currently wellpeople and 100% pure. The wellpeople tends to flake off during the day. The 100% pure fruit pigmented mascara is very nice but does not add as much length as I would like.
grumpyBaboon0
I was initially pleasantly surprised by this. My regular mascara is Clinique’s Naturally Glossy. So, I prefer a more “natural” look and like mascara for a bit of length and defintiion. Volume isn’t important to me. I dislike combing through mascara, so no clumps that need to be combed out is extremely important. I did not have any clumping and found the look it gave me comparable to Natural Glossy, except there was no glossiness and it provided a bit more volume. However, by the end of the day there was a tiny amount of flaking. It was minimal, but I haven’t generally had that problem with other mascaras. So, for that reason I won’t get it again.
mellowRaisins6
I was intrigued to try this new product from Burt’s Bees because it was being marketed as an all natural mascara. Although I have been switching out my makeup and beauty products for clean/green/all natural products for the past year, I have yet to try an all natural mascara…so I thought I’d try this one after hearing about it from a YouTube beauty guru who raved about it. I didn’t like it.
Pros
– “all natural” …. although not 100% (some ingredients are not)
– Price (cheap)
Cons
– CLUMPS!!!!! A LOT!!!!
– no volume effect
– no lengthening effect
– This mascara doesn’t really do anything in terms of adding volume or lengthening eyelashes. The ONLY thing it does (besides clump, ugh) is add color/product to the eyes …so as basic as a mascara can be
– The wand bends. It’s very flimsy. When you go to rub off excess product on the side, the wand bends. I’ve never experienced such a flimsy, bendy wand with any mascara, including drug store brands
Overall
– I’ve never had a mascara form so many clumps, did not enjoy
– Don’t recommend
– Would not repurchase
****EDIT
Literally have not touched or used this since i bought it and tried it a couple of times with disastrous results. Garbage products imo. 1 star
excludedPoultry5
This is one of the worst mascaras I have ever used. It takes forever to dry enough not to smear and once it does it flakes within an hour. WAY OVER PRICED.
solemnCake4
Mascaras are must have in my makeup bag. I can live without blush, lipstick, even eye pencil, but no without mascara.
I think I might have tested zillions of mascaras – some even more than once, but wasn’t able to find anything “decent” enough to give fine result, reasonable staying power and good quality.
I tested super expensive mascaras like Helena Rubinstein, Burberry and Chanel to cheep ones – Astor, Inglot, etc.
While I noticed that some expensive mascara are superior in quality, the general rule is that price is meaningless.
You can get expensive garbage or treasure.
This review is regarding the new version in navy, triangular shape tube. If it comes to this mascara, it will not give you dramatic effects nor length, but if your natural lashes are ok it will enhance them beautifully. It gives definition, some volume, some length and glossy, healthy finish.it is too wet after opening (for my liking), thus might give you a bit of clumps for a week or two, but after that the separation and definition is just great. In addition to that, I have noticed that condition of my lashes improved. They are not falling out, got more elasticity and gloss. My eye doesn’t feel “tired” in the evening, as they were previously, when using drugstore or luxury mascaras.
The most important thing is the mascara does not flake or run, even in the evening it looks exactly the same as in the morning (of course if you avoiding touching your eyes). I had may issues in the past with most of the mascaras – my eyelids are oily thus most of them just smudged and run after couple or hours, while the most “stubborn” ones cracked on my cheeks. not the case – I have no idea how they achieved that, as the mascara on lashes is soft and creamy.
There’s just one con I have noticed so far – if it have contact with water it runs. Rain, grass sprinkles, anything – it won’t resist.
blissfulTacos1
I’ll start by saying I have fairly long and dark eyelashes without mascara.
This doesn’t really add volume or length. I normally pile on my mascara and go for oomph (as in, I want to notice a difference with/without) but even with two coats it isn’t really happening.
No flaking at all, but it gives me racoon eyes. It smells very different from drugstore mascara, but “fragrance” is on the ingredient list so that’s probably why. Smells like roses – ish.
The one thing I’m very happy with is the color. I have the brown and it’s dark enough that it’s not lighter than my lashes without the harsh look of a black mascara. Unfortunately I don’t need mascara for color so this really isn’t a hit for me.
The packaging is ok but mascara ends up all over and I need to clean up with both ends of a q-tip after applying.
I gave up on this and got something different (trying the Ilia mascara in brown now) as I ended up never bothering to wear mascara after I got this one.
somberCardinal3
I tried this mascara out for a while, but it did not work out for my lashes. This mascara has a waxy quality that does not work well with my type of lashes and tends to make my lashes look clumpy. The brush is not designed to deal with this issue, so there is no way to fix this without either going back in with another mascara or using a spoolie brush to try to get some separation and definition. Instead of this product, I would recommend the W3ll People Expressionist Mascara, which is simply magical and hits all the marks- length, volume, separation, and color.
solidEland7
I am a fan of Dr. Hauschka make-up line. With their products, I find the effectiveness of conventionnal non-natural make-up brands. This mascara is good for everyday use, the look is very natural. It also goes off easily and doesn’t leak, which is hard to find in natural mascaras. I will definitely purschase again as my everyday mascara!
trustingPolenta6
After lipgloss, mascara is probably the only makeup I would wear on a daily basis, even when I’m not in the mood to even bother dressing up at all.. That’s why it’s so important to have a mascara that’s less damaging to your eyes, the environment, and easy to apply, and easy to wear – also mentally. It looks natural, feels natural… You must be careful and remember to remove it at the end of the day because it’s so light. The best part though? It smells like roses!!!
decimalFalcon1
Totally straightforward mascara. As many reviewers have said, there’s no drama here, even with two coats. It really just enhances your lashes. It definitely thickens, darkens, and elongates, but at the same time almost looks like you’re not wearing mascara. In my book, that’s a good thing, most days. Basically, if you like products without a lot of mysterious synthetic weirdness in them, and if you go for the natural look, this stuff is great. I see some people have had problems with flaking or wearing off, but this has never been an issue for me. It doesn’t go on particularly heavy, but what gets on my lashes pretty much stays there until I take it off.
thriftyOrange5
I purchased the L.A. Colors HD Waterproof Mascara and this is THEE WORST mascara EVER! It seriously took me 40 minutes to even become noticeable! I have been wearing mascara for 30 years and never bought anything so useless as far as mascara goes. After becoming increasingly frustrated with applying it, the areas around my eyes had mascara blotches everywhere. The mascara doesn’t even hold onto your eyelashes! Don’t waste your dollar!!
mercifulTermite1
I’ve tried 4 different LA Colors mascara & I liked them all. Unfortunately I lost 1, threw one out becoz I had it for awhile that 1 was more expensive bcoz I didn’t buy it at dollar tree like the other 3 (it was from Kmart it was their waterproof kind not the dollar tree kind) LAC is cruelty free! For a $1 it’s great. It performs like any good mascara gives results I don’t see any problems w it. I will never buy drugstore mascara again when I can go to dollar tree & get these!!! 🙂 YES to rebuy! I rebought 1 of the 1s i lost today =]

This review is for the L.A. Colors mascara that is available at Dollar Tree stores. This is my second tube and I am very impressed given that it costs me a $1. I do add a few drops of argon oil to help nourish my lashes.
The mascara is easy and quick to use giving great everyday results.
For a dollar, it’s worth a try!

On a never-ending quest for non-toxic even organic mascara, I found this one. Turns out it is some of the worst mascara I’ve ever used.
My criteria: I like a mascara that separates the lashes, holds the curl and doesn’t flake or smudge, or end up under my eyes.
This stuff (for me) was awful: gloppy, thick, smugdy, flaky and would NOT keep a curl, once curled. Big, unwieldy brush that doesn’t separate lashes. Was so hoping to love it, but alas, I am still searching for my HG of mascaras, after 40 years….
guiltyBagels6
I absolutely LOVE this mascara and couldn’t live without it. I’ve been using it for more than a year and started to do so when I decided to replace all my beauty products with natural/organic ones.
I have naturally long eyelashes so I basically only need coloring of the lashes but I can definitely see an enormous difference between being natural and wearing this mascara. When I am wearing the mascara my eyelashes are darker, much more defined and seem even longer. I’m not sure how this mascara works for people struggling with short lashes, though. The mascara doesn’t wear off easily nor does it make “racoon discolorings” below the eyes and besides that is also easy to apply. I have tried a couple of other natural/organic mascaras but feel this one is by far the best. I’m very impressed by the short ingredients list and that the ingredients are so natural/pure.
The only con would be the price (I pay around 20£ for it in Europe) but then again the mascaras I used before switching to this one were more expensive or priced the same so can’t really complain (as it is excellent value for money in my case). The packaging is not that nice but I don’t really care about that.
excludedSausage3
I have been using this mascara for many years and LOVE IT!! My lashes don’t fall out and get short using this product as they have done with others. Truly love how natural and safe the ingredients are! This is one of my HG and will always use.
pluckyFalcon6
I’ve been wearing this mascara for over 5 years,, absolutely love it!! This mascara doesn’t bother my sensitive eyes gives nice definition and length with a nice natural look without any chemicals or parabens! 🙂
In the summer I wear the Navy shade which is a nice black/blue. I highly recommend this mascara.
awedChamois9
This isn’t a very good mascara, albeit with natural ingredients. For $18, I expect it to be more buildable. Additionally, after it’s dried, it doesn’t hold a curl (which is actually pretty normal for natural mascaras) but also flakes! Flaking is a big no-no for me because I do wear contacts, not to mention the fact that it’s pretty unsightly to have black flecks all over my cheeks.
For a pretty good natural mascara, I think I’ll back to Earth’s Beauty.
enviousHare8
I have tried many “natural” brands of mascara, and they always end up irritating my eyes or completely flaking by mid-day. I was really impressed with the performance of Real Purity’s mascara. It actually gave my lashes pretty good length (not as much volume), and didn’t flake at all (unless you rub your eyes, it’s not smudge-proof or waterproof). You have to be careful not to apply a ton of coats, because it will start to clump your lashes together (I found 2 swipes per eye was perfect for me). Didn’t irritate my eyes either! I would HIGHLY recommend this product if you are searching for a good natural mascara and have very sensitive eyes.
I purchased this from Natural Joy Beauty– they carry a ton of other great products, have fantastic customer service, and send free samples with every order (I love free stuff)! 🙂

It’s very light weight, buildable and doesn’t clump if you don’t let it dry in between layers. It gives really nice length but no volume. At $23 CAD, it’s quite pricey. I compared it with my L’Oreal Carbon black and unfortunately my $17 L’Oreal one beat it. This mascara is very natural looking, and really does give you length. If you’re going for the ‘look at my lashes’ look, this mascara probably isn’t for you. Again, for the price, I would not purchase again. If it was under $15, I would definitely consider it.
blissfulLard5
This mascara did absolutely NOTHING for my lashes. And if anything, it was very hard to remove. I expected great results and instead, i got nothing but just darker lashes. The brush is nice, I quite like it, but the formula is on the cream side and doesn’t apply well.

I HATE LISE WATIER MASCARA
boastfulBagels2
The best mascara I have ever tried!!! I have repurchased x3 and would do so again!! User ‘click’ said it is hard to remove… that’s because eye makeup remover will NOT take it off. Run the warm water and soak a cotton pad, then let it sit on your eye for about thirty seconds… the little tubes will slide right off!!
This stuff makes my eyelashes AMAZING, brings out every one of them, and stays on through an hourlong gym session or a swim!! The trick is not to let the coats dry or yes, they will clump!! Honestly as long as you know how to use it and you apply and remove properly, it’s the best stuff out there!! LOVE it!

This is a review for 24 hour glam mascara
Last I checked “glam” doesn’t mean spider lashes. I’ve never been so disappointed in a mascara and it doesn’t help that it wasn’t cheap. I will never purchase this again. I don’t even know if I’ll continue to use it.
thriftyTermite3
Pretty disappointed with this mascara (24 hour glam)
– Application is not the easiest. The brush has 2 sort of “flat” sides and 2 long spiky sides. Using the flat side made the mascara clump and I kept poking myself in the eye with the long spiky side.
– Took all curl out of my lashes. Didn’t volumize or lengthen to give me any “wow”. I was hoping to have something that made my lashes look lush and long (don’t we all), this made them look…just average. Longer, but kind of thin. For $20 CDN I want a lot more than average!
– Flaked off a lot during the day
– Difficult to remove. No amount of hot water, rubbing, eye makeup remover, or cleansing oils will budge this stuff off until it wants to come off. No matter how much I thought I had it all, I’d wake up the next day and find my lashes were kind of gummy and sticky near the base, which made that day’s mascara even clumpier.
On the plus side, I like the giraffe print tube and the smell. Some people say it smells rubbery or plasticky but I kind of thought it smelled like roses. Everyone’s nose is different I guess.
I keep wanting to like Lise Watier stuff but this is the 2nd thing I’ve bought that hasn’t lived up to it’s billing.
solidChamois0
This review is for the 24 Hrs Glam. This mascara is awful! I’ve never used any Lise Watier products before so I had no expectations. Hopefully this mascara does not represent the rest of her makeup. The texture of it is rubbery which makes it hard to comb through and also not very buildable. I ended up with spidery lashed which were not evenly coated. It also had an unpleasant rubber smell. The bristles very hard and stiff which would concern me if I were in a hurry and not careful it could scratch my eye. Usually I’ll finish using a tube of mascara even if I don’t like it, but this one I had to throw away.
amusedOrange5
One of my favorite mascaras and I’ve tried A LOT!! I clean the wand with tissue because it can be clumpy but once you have it ready, the lashes look full, longer, and natural. You cannot beat this price at Walgreens! I use the Jordana lip liner and eyeliner too!

This is for the Electric Blue 15. This is a perfect not too wet, not too dry consistency. It actually not only colors my hard to color already black eye-lashes, but also separates, curls and slightly thickens and lengthens my lashes. I’ve gotten complimented three times now when I’ve had this on. One of which was from a Sephora employee. She was surprised when I told her that I purchased my mascara for a mere $4. Furthermore, I like that although it’s cheap, it does not make my lashes feel dry or crispy. I will re-purchase and really want to try the black one now. Great steal. Nothing to lose but under $5 if you don’t like it.
yearningBoars3
When I read the reviews on this, I never would have bought this mascara as a plain black mascara. But I’m always looking for a blue, especially an electric, eye-popping blue mascara. So when I saw this at my local dollar store in that color, I figured for a buck, I would try it. Using it as a regular mascara, the reviews are absolutely correct. It does not lengthen my lashes. It does not darken them at all. After all, I purchased the electric blue, so the color will be just that, an eye-popping bright blue.
It’s a wet mascara also, so the consistency is one that must be used with care. It comes out of the tube very, very wet, so when I apply it, I have to be extra careful, or I will have very clumpy, spider-like lashes.
So using it as a regular mascara, I can’t even say I would repurchase it. Trying to get it to make my lashes to stand out as a blue color was near to impossible using it on its own. Using other mascaras first, then applying this over them didn’t work either. The blue just didn’t show up.
I didn’t have any flaking or smudging with it, which was great. Removal is super easy with eye makeup remover, or an OCM.
However….
recently, I bought some fiber powders from Essence that are used with a wand that you put on after you apply a coat of any of your regular mascaras. I decided to try this mascara with the fiber powders. And bingo! This mascara became the eye-popping blue mascara that I wanted after all. That’s what it needed. It just required the strength of fibers in it to build it up. Of course, that’s adding another product to it, and that delineates from the original product review.
So, if you’re looking for a blue mascara that will make your lashes look blue on its own, this mascara will not do it. If you’re looking for a mascara to make your lashes just look natural, a little more defined, this will do it. It’s not a mascara to volumize, to lengthen, to give your lashes more oomph at all. You have to work with it. I had to use a comb to make my lashes less spidery, also.
Will I repurchase? For a little over a buck, maybe. Only because I know I can use it with my fibers for a completely different look, but that’s adding another product to it and additional cost. The choice is yours. I really do like the electric blue color tho. It’s a bright, bright blue that’s great for the summer weather.
mellowDotterel3
Possibly the most boring mascara ever. It makes my eyelashes black… and that’s about it. I’m almost done with my second tube and I have never noticed any significant changes in the length, volume, or curl. of my lashes. And yes, it does flake a bit.
Only buy this if you’re in need of something very cheap to use temporarily.
shyBoa1
I bought this mascara in 01 black. It really is worth it for $1.50 … This mascara does not clump or make my lashes stick together. It defined my lashes , so it isn’t really that bad. Would I buy this product again? Yes , only as a backup mascara tho … I wouldn’t rlly use this everyday , just on some days when I want to go for a natural look. :)) The packaging , it’s kind of plain. But what do you expect for a mascara that’s $1.50 right?

This is a review for the Jordana clear mascara. It comes in 01 Black, 03 Brown, 15 Electric Blue and 25 Clear (Brow Set). I’ve used it as both a masara and a brow gel.
– – –
MASCARA:
* THICKENING & LENGTHENING – This thickened/darkened my lashes slightly. Didn’t expect any length and didn’t get any.
* SEPARATION – Pretty decent, I do find that the formula is a bit thick. However this clear mascara does NOT have the same texture/consistency as a regular mascara, it feels more like a liquid than a glue (for lack of a better comparison). So it’s pretty easy to just comb out the excess or wipe it off.
* CURL HOLDING – Bad! It took the curl right out of my lashes and weighed them down.
* OTHER – Packaging seemed pretty tacky. You can’t completely get the stickers/packaging/glue off so it leaves that sticky imprint.
* VERDICT – I feel this didn’t really do much for me, except wet and uncurl my lashes. However my sister likes to use it as a base for a black mascara. I think you can get the same effect as this mascara with some Vaseline.
– – –
BROW GEL:
* PROS
– Very good consistency – you always get the right amount on, and it dries naturally and comfortably.
* CONS
– Average hold, but is nothing in comparison to the new Prestige My Brow Mascara brow fixing gel. After I use that my brows do NOT budge. Never using Jordana again!
– Doesn’t last all day.

I bought this for $1.50 USD at Daiso. This mascara isn’t really a true black even, it seems blue tinted. It also doesn’t do much for volume or length, and took the curl out of my lashes!! <.< This is the only mascara I bought that has done this. =(
mercifulSalami5
This mascara thickens and volumizes, but you have to be careful when you pull the wand out of the barrel because it can get gloppy. Whip off the excess before you apply it to your lashes and it does a great job. I prefer the cobra mascara to this one though because I’m not a huge fan of the wand; it’s huge! I find it harder to get into the outer and inner corners of my eye with it and I’ve poked myself once or twice, so you gotta be careful lol. I’ve seen this mascara look amazing on other people for some reason so I guess it varies on the shape of your eyes.
innocentOryx6
This is by far my favorite mascara…got it on sale at ulta!! I thought to myself…why not give it a try…thank god I did!! It absolutely lengthened and volumized my lashes!! Will absolutely be buying again!
ashamedCamel2
I liked this product, I really did. A lot of people seem to have complaints, but I think makeup is really specific to an individual because we are all made differently and have different types of lashes, activities, etc.
This mascara was a great buy. I chose it because I didn’t have enough money for Diorshow mascara and just picked it up. It claims to volumize and separate the lashes without clumping, and I feel like it stays true to its label. I have long lashes, so I don’t really like the overly done-up fake eyelash look but this mascara gave me a nice everyday look and really fanned out and darkened my lashes.
It’s also the summer and really humid outside, and I find that the mascara doesn’t run like the other mascaras that I’ve tried, it stays put even through sports practices. It’s also a really versatile thickening mascara that, if layered, can give a dramatic look while not seeming overdone. Two thumbs up.

This is a little basic, but not bad by any means. I have Lashes Mascara in Black, and it defines my already long and dark lashes well. It doesn’t clump, smudge, migrate or disappear, and while it doesn’t do anything exceptional as far as lengthening and thickening are concerned, it’s overall pretty good.
joyfulMeerkat5
What a waste!!! I woulda been happier buying Maybeline for 2.99. This was terrible. It’s very clumpy!! And it really didn’t do anything for my lashes. I’m disappointed.
pacifiedCow0
Bar none the WORST mascara I’ve ever tried. Not only was it goopier than the average mascara, it gave me horrid raccoon eyes. Flaked and smudged, and did so pretty quickly (within a couple hours!) LORAC has a good reputation, so I thought it was me and tried wearing it several times, but had the same result–raccoon eyes within two hours or so. Tossed the tube and won’t buy it again.
wrathfulDinosaur6
This is too expensive considering there are cheaper brands that perform better. It gave me racoon eyes. I wouldn’t buy this again.

It looks as though Gabriel Color Mascara has been discontinued, although ZuZu Luxe has colored mascara. But, for the review. After I was diagnosed with celiac disease, I wanted a gluten-free mascara because I found that my eyes became irritated while wearing makeup, and thought mascara a likely culprit. (It can be, and gluten-free mascaras are not easy to come by.) I tried this in black-brown and, much as I love Gabriel and his cosmetic philosophy, this was a no-go for me. The very wet formula made my short, sparse lashes look sparse and spiky. However, it didn’t irritate my eyes a bit. If you’re looking for a clean mascara and have good lashes, you may like this, but otherwise, look at Tarte’s for volumizing and lengthening.
peacefulOwl4
Application is light, but clump free. No flakes in my experience. I use it after applying the lash cream by the same brand. This may not be what you want to use for the most dramatic effect, but I love it for every day use.
truthfulPorpoise5
The PureLash mascara is everything I ever wanted in a mascara product because it doesn’t have harsh chemicals. It’s very comfortable to wear and can hold the curl well – but for only two hours! My major gripe for this product is the fact that it smudges on me in under 3 hours. I wish they could do something about the formula. 🙂

Jane Iredale mascara
While I’m just starting to try her products and love the concept of makeup good for your skin: this product got a thumbs down from me. Here’s what I liked:
– Nice, classy packaging
– No harsh chemicals/parabens
– Washes off easily
Here’s what I didn’t like:
– Did not seem to really lengthen or volumize very much.
– Didn’t hold a curl well. My lashes quickly started to droop.
– Smudged off on my under eyes easily
I agree with the reviewer who said: “A mascara needs to hold a curl well and needs to stay on without smudging or flaking for a long time”
Sorry, being less chemical-filled is not enough for me.
peacefulLizard1
Hmmn. i think this mascara is good as a base mascara underneath another one. It is not enough to be warn on its own. It is too thin and does not enhance the lashes much at all. I like to use this as a base for my thicker defining mascara over the top.
artisticLion9
I am a big fan of Jane Iredale but would not buy their mascara again. I tried both the PureLash and PureLash Lengthening. I didn’t notice any lengthening nor thickening– I prefer a much more dramatic effect with my mascara. While its ingredients are surely healthier for your lashes, it’s too pricey and I can get a better look with other drug-store mascaras.
Also, it always dries up and clumps around the opening of the tube (it happened with both tubes). It’s annoying and messy!
eagerSyrup1
Just decided to make the switch from the traditional, but toxic, mascaras to a chemical free, better-for-me brand. Decided to try Jane Iredale first and while it doesn’t buff my lashes out like a young Schwarzenneger, it covers and lengthens my naturally average lashes and I’m okay with that. It certainly didn’t flake or dry out, and I did need a touch up once a day.
offendedRaisins5
this is the best macara i have ever bought, it coes on without any clumbs and it does only flake if you rub your eyes or take a nap. it makes my eyes beautifull and the lashes looks long and separated. i do not usually build it up, i have long lashes from natues hand but i think that i would be good anyway
culturedWidgeon4
I got Lash Alert (!) in my March 2018 Ipsy & I love it. It really gives length & impressive thickness. Makes me look like I’m wearing falsies & today I left the house searing only mascara & a Victoria’s Secret lipkit. I normally can’t leave the house w/o my “work finished.” But today had to run an errand b4 a store closed so I only had time for lipgloss & mascara, & I didn’t feel self conscious like I thought I would. I got a bomb lipgloss out of ipsy to put on a bit ago & touched up I needed lipgloss & pressed powder & I added a bit more mascara it looks decent & it made the emphasis on my hair today which I wore down (rare!) my mom commented on my hair looking so curly & “cute.” Can’t go wrong there! This mascara I would love to buy it in waterproof but I don’t think that opportunity will present itself :-/ i get to try a lot of different brands w ipsy/boxycharm I would never otherwise be exposed to. This mascara is bomb. If you got a chance to get it you cannot go wrong. This is my lazy-girl/hurried-girl new routine. (Lipgloss-a bit of pressed powder-this mascara!!) this mascara doesn’t smudge (my skin is super oily as in eyelids), but isn’t stubborn to remove. And who tosses a perfect mascara after only 3 months—I can get to enjoy every last bit of good product 3 months or not be damned because of its squeeze tube packaging all mascaras should do this kind of packaging lol I really love ipsy. For $10 you get a helluva lot neat stuff. I got my $10 worth this month for sure!
soreHeron9
I just got this the other day. I really like it so far. Applys well. Package is great, allows for you to get out all of the product.
wrathfulPear3
I really like this mascara. I have used many mascaras in the past ranging from £5-£25 and with this mascara being at the cheaper end of the scale (£6 from the Eyeko website) i was pleasantly suprised at how good it was! The brush is quite small and kind of like a corkscrew style. This is really good as you can get right into the lashes and for a cheaper drugstore mascara it builds up really easily. The tube is also really handy as you can squeeze all the last little bits of the product out of the tube.
vengefulCur3
This isn’t the bets mascara out there but it does a good job in thickening for a cheap price. I used it as a final touch after another mascara but soon found myself not using ti anymore. All in all, cheap and does a good job for the price but not anything REALLY amazing. The packaging is cute and it’s worth a try if you happen to spot it somewhere.
dejectedOatmeal8
This is now my favourite mascara.
Applies easily and stays put all day.
I only need to apply one coat for a perfect finish.
Lashes look longer and there is no clumping or flaking.
I have sensitive eyes and this is the only mascara I have found that doesn’t irritate them and make my eyes itchy.
The tube is super cute and the brush is just perfect for application, separates and coats lashes evenly.
I love this mascara!!
cruelUnicorn4
Mascara isn’t just for lashes. After wiping the excess off the wand, it is great for colouring and shaping the eyebrows. It makes such a difference and looks really natural and even. I use brown on my brows which are different colours naturally – really annoying! The mascara makes them look thicker and even toned.
I have black lashes so use black max factor clump defy.
dearChile3
It works but….sadly its not worth. Clumps and flakes….and don’t even TRY to get it off. It did make my lashes look good but there is something not right about the formula. Lots of mascaras can make your eyelashes look good but they don’t have to be so clumpy and such a pain to remove, even with eye makeup remover.
empathicGelding0
Horrible! This stuff clumps and flakes like nobody’s business.
I just bought new contacts and was convinced there was something wrong with them b/c they were so freakin’ blurry. Then I realized they only got blurry after applying my Stila mascara. Lo and behold, I switched mascaras and my contacts are fine.
Crummy, overpriced product. I generally like Stila, but this stuff is horrid.
pacifiedStork6
I took a chance on the Stila mascara because I like all of the other Stila products I’ve tried. However, this mascara is difficult to apply, clumps, and makes my eyelashes brittle. I doubt that I purchase this product again.
ashamedCamel6
If you have straight lashes that need to be curled and you want to try this mascara, make sure you can return it. Not only will it pull the curl out within seconds, it also does very little for the lashes. I’m better off to curl my lashes and not wear any mascara than to put this on.
ecstaticMallard1
I am slightly obsessed with tubing mascaras and finally decided to buy the one that claims to do it better than any other. I’m not sure I would agree with that though. The formula on this one is much smoother and glossier than the others I’ve tried which have tended to be drier and somewhat clumpier, maybe to help volumize the lashes? This one for sure coats and lengthens the lashes but does not add volume of any kind that I could tell. At least it doesn’t flake off like the Estée Lauder one I purchased (what a waste of money that was!). I have allergies and my eyes water a lot so a tubing mascara is pretty much the only fool-proof way for me to wear mascara and not look like a panda. If I want something with volume then I reach for L’Oréal Double Extend with the primer on one side and the tubing mascara on the other to get a fuller lash look. Blinc is a great every day mascara for just coating and lengthening lashes so eyes look awake. Probably deserves a 3.5 out of 5 lippies.
puzzledDingo6
This stuff is the worst… made it look like I had about 5 lashes on each eye lol
The only benefit is it doesnt smudge! But then again, I also want more than 10 lashes…
betrayedOcelot6
For me, this mascara is lacking the oomph factor that I am looking for. I want volume and separation and this mascara is more of an enhancing mascara, in that it does not do anything wild but it adds just a tad bit of color, definition, and length. In fact, it hardly lengthens and cannot compare to the W3ll People Expressionist Mascara, which is on par with more popular non-natural mascaras out there. It was nice to try, but this is not going to be a repurchase for me.
brainyHare1
This mascara is not going to give you the most dramatic volume or length, but it’s gentle on sensitive eyes and gives a polished natural look. It doesn’t clump and visibly improves the look of my lashes. For a very thorough review with pictures, go to: http://www.sensitastic.blogspot.com
truthfulSeagull2
I’ve used this for years because I switched to this brand as it’s natural. However, due to this reason you won’t get much coverage with this mascara and in fact it’s so unnoticeable I don’t even bother taking it off at night it just wears off. I like the fact it’s not clumped or glued to my eyelashes like some heavy mascaras are but I guess then you don’t get coverage. I have also the volume mascara which is much better if you want a night out but you will need makeup remover to take this off. Nearly every one I have bought the wand has broken and wobbles. They did say when I phoned this seems to be a problem. All in all, I still won’t switch back to a heavily chemical mascara with a nasty smell. It’s a bit pricey though!
wingedOryx4
Pros:
All natural
Nice scent
Preserves itself in the tube for a long time
Non-flaking
.
Cons:
Takes several applications to make anything happen, does not lengthen or add volume in any way. Looks almost too discreet and natural. Unless you have some already hefty lashes to apply this to, don’t expect much difference other than some colour.
.
I really like most Dr. Hauschka products that I’ve tried, but the mascara isn’t my favourite. Perhaps I should try the Volume Mascara next time?

This is a review for the 24 hour glam mascara in the giraffe tube. This came along in the Waterproof Eyes set, a $23 set with a full size mascara, eyeliner, and trial eye makeup remover. I was really happy to get this in the set, because the full price of the mascara is already $20! So if anyone sees this set around, get it! The mascara wand is a small plastic one, which makes it great for lower lashes as well. The formula is volumizing and lengthening. The only cons I have is that lashes have a tendency to stick together if I’m not being careful and un-sticking them is a hassle (especially upper lashes). The formula dries to in a weird rubbery consistency.. so when the lower lashes clump together a little I separate them with my fingers and off comes a little rubber ball. The formula also smells a bit funny.. plastic-y! But I got used to it. This mascara would definitely be on my re-purchase list, but I always like to test out new ones.

Lise Watier 24Hrs Glam Mascara is the BEST mascara I have ever tried. It gives you length and volume. As soon as you put it on your lashes just grow in front of your eyes no joke!!. It has a silicone formula that coats each and every lash giving you that amazing sexy full lash. You cannot miss it it has an animal pint on the tube brown and gold like a giraff. I paid $20.00 Canadian.
I never write reviews, BUT this is a must try you will be glad you did. It doesn’t compare to any other mascara ANY!!!!
jealousFerret5
This review is for the NEW Lise Watier 24 Hrs Glam Mascara. This will surely be everyone’s HG mascara !! It’s $20 CDN and the giraffe print packaging is oh so chic. I’m ditching Lancome, Dior, Prescriptives, Guerlain and Max Factor for good. OMIGOD…my lashes are super long, voluminous and hold a curl ALL DAY LONG. It’s elastic polymer formula coats each lash with a 3D waterproof film. It does not clump, it does not flake, no fallout whatsoever. I used it for three days now and everyone swears I’m wearing falsies. I’m tellin’ ya…this mascara will make heads turn !!
EDIT : The compliments keep on coming. This mascara is WOW !!
morbidRice1
well i like this for a clear mascara, but u know i do like cover girls better, but for a buck what can you expect? mine doesnt flake, i use clear because i dont need to use black or dark brown mascara every day, just want em to look like they’ve got some thing on them, cuz i dont need the color, its already there. id probley try a better brand after this.
ashamedSardines2
I bought the clear mascara. It’s a big tube and only cost $1. It did get cloudy after a while but that doesn’t bother me. Works great on my eyebrows and ok on my lashes. Since most clear mascaras are the same, I would buy this again because it is cheap.
spiritedOatmeal3
I bought a tube of this in clear back in January, and have been using it practically every day since. I have naturally long, dark lashes so I didn’t want to use an actual shade for everyday wear. So I just sweep it on my lashes to get excess e/s off and to keep my brows in place.
It is a *decent* product, not great, just decent. Often it doesn’t seperate my lashes as well as I would like and it has a tendency to flake. I’m sure that there’s better stuff out there. I’ll probably buy another brand when I run out or get sick of it (which will probably be pretty soon), but if I’m desperate maybe I’ll give it a go again.
pitifulRaisins8
There are some things I really like about this mascara and some things I don’t. I like the color (aubergine is dark purple but very subtle and just brings out the color of blue/green eyes). I also like the look of my lashes (no clumping, thicker). However, after several hours of use, there are always flakies under my eyes, and it is just too expensive a mascara to do that. So although not a holy grail and I will not repurchase, it was worth a try, and I’ll finish up this tube.
cautiousLapwing5
i got this in aubergine. in some of the other review, they said auburn is dark purple, but aubergine is dark purple… it’s nice and goes on smoothly for me, didn’t clump or anything. it stay put, because usually mascara tend to run into my eyes and i’ll have some black colored eye guts instead of clear ones, this one i have no problem even when my eyes were watery. look even natural, but still lengthen and volume my eyelash. my lash feels softer at the end of the day too. doesn’t make any of my lash falls off, this is one of the very few mascara that i can wear without a single problem. i have sensitive eyes that get irriates easily, and my eyelash tend to fall off easily too. i’ll keep buying this one forever!
crushedFerret5
One of the worst department store mascaras that I have ever tried.
Builds absolutely no length or thickness for the price.
Save your time and $$$ and pass on this one..
