I don’t understand the wand. That little bulb at the end does nothing, and is kind of annoying.
The formula also is horrendous. It did absolutely nothing for me in terms of length or volume. On top of that, it makes my curled lashes go stick straight immediately upon application!
I will be throwing this out because life is way too short for bad mascara.

I bought the lengthening version twice since it had a less unusual wand and I kinda liked it. The biggest plus was the lash separating effect but everything else…meh. I have tried using the ball at the end of the wand once what created a big mess and I’ve never used it again. This mascara doesn’t clump or flake, lasts for long and it’s good for layering but it doesn’t hold curls and has a very wet formula. So you can say that it has its own pluses and minuses. One advice – don’t bother buying the waterproof version because the you will have a terribly hard time taking it off. I had to practically pull it of every single lash off with my nails.

Bought it in Korea, very cute packaging but the product itself is just … not for me.
The wand is messy, a round gigantic tip that won’t fit anywhere really. The formula is so wet, gives me spidery lashes, lashes just stick together taking away volume , super wet and clumpy anddddd above allllllll… hard to take off!
I tried to work with it, put on one single thin coat on each side but it won’t collaborate.
I have decent amount and good length of natural lashes and this mascara managed to make me look like I have 3 big lashes on each eye.
Regret buying it. It wasn’t even that expensive but I regret.

I love this mascara, it is hands down my favourite and I am on my 3rd tube. i use the waterproof version in the royal blue and silver tube -everything about it is perfect.
The wand is long and contains a small ball on the end. Usually, I cover my top lashes with the long edge then use the ball to coat the inner and outer corners, bottom lashes and hard to reach places. I use it again on the tips and I have very defined, long and beautiful looking lashes.
The formula is excellent and it rarely clumps when I put it on. It doesnt smudge or move during my day and helps hold my curl. It is great mascara and here in Korea it is a bargain price, especially when compared to other mascaras I have used like YSL Everlong, Badgal Lash and Lancome. I personally think this is better than all of them to. Its amazing.

My first asian mascara. I must say I am liking this, especially since a lot of mascara’s irritate my allergy prone eyes. I have very curly lashes but was looking for something to add some volume as mine are not thick, I have fine lashes that look almost non existent against my skin. So I need all the help I can get to emphasise them. The only gripe I have with this product is it is an absolute nightmare to get it off ! I have never used a mascara which requires so much work to remove. I am trying to find a remover so I can wear this more often as the Bliss Labs and 3CE is not up to the job.

Having gone mad on trying out Asian cosmetics of late, I’ve been quite impressed by some of the mascaras I’ve purchased (although it’s usually the formulas I like, but I find that too many of them have gimmicky wands that I detest & have put me off repurchasing the product as they make for uneven distribution & leave me with mad spider eyes with some legs trying to crawl up onto my forehead).
For me, this was a fail on both formula and wand. It’s fiddly & painstaking to apply and I’m not looking for fiddly. It doesn’t provide any volume & just builds skinny spiders with the comb/pole section, then thickens out to a clumpy mess with the ball.
I’ve attached a couple of pics (above) to demonstrate what it looks like. Please note that these are not mine as I’ve already tossed this mascara after quite a few attempts at finding a way to work with it, but they’re an excellent indicator of how the mascara looks.
Perhaps, for those who want the K-pop look or bloated spider-eyes, this is the be-all and end-all product. Personally, if I were after a K-pop look & wore circle lenses (I’m a tad too old to pull it off with any integrity), I’ve seen it done well and could accomplish it with false eyelashes which are a lot less fiddly after only a little bit of practice. I haven’t worn false eyelashes for a couple of years but, recently, pulled out a pair of my many unused ones for a dramatic going-out look. It was like riding a bicycle: bang and they were on with a minimum of fuss.
When it comes to a tubing (or film type), washable mascara, I’m sticking with my beloved Fiberwig Lash Knockout.

I absolutely fell in love with this mascara right as i saw the advertisement. the idea and the packaging itself is SO SO SO unique that i would’ve bought it anyways even if it was a real sucky mascara. I like how this mascara does not smudge like the REVLON mascaras. i will definetely be getting seconds! HURRAH for HOLIKA HOLIKA

I have short Asian stubby eye lashes and this mascara does not hold a curl. My lashes actually droop right after application. I bought this because of the great reviews but it just didn’t work for me (after multiple tries). Will not be repurchasing but may give the waterproof version a try.

I bought this after reading a review that it is very comparable to Majolica Majorka and definitely agree.
The wand is not the easiest to use at first, but nothing a few days of experimenting can’t change. Very good at holding a curl, definitely adds length and volume, and comes in a super cute tube too. I also love the ball part of the wand because it makes applying mascara to my bottom lashes so much easier, not to mention comb out mascara clumps! However, the only con is that even with the ball wand, this can get a bit clumpy.

I really enjoy this mascara! I have the power volume one and it actually gives both volume and length! I had no idea that this mascara would have fibers in it so that was a pleasant surprise since I have been wanting to try a fiber mascara. It does what it claims and does not leave me with panda eyes and definitely defines my lashes! I have a full review on my blog if you are interested :]
