I REALLY did not like this mascara. It had a VERY long drying time and it was terribly clumpy. I sneezed like two minutes after applying to this and IT GOT ALL UNDER MY EYES.

Uhh I love this! I do like a good mascara, and buy a new one to try every couple of months (ok, every month) and this is my latest and it’s the best one I’ve tried in ages. some of the other mascara by Body shop smelt, frankly, quite scary, but when I tried this I found it similar to Clinique’s Lash Power. Small brush, doesn’t flake, lasts really well and build and builds, which I love. After applying this my lashes felt weird when I opened them, then I realised it was because they were touching my eye brows!!! lol

This is a good basic mascara. Its really buildable and gives a really clean application. Its very natural looking, just gives a bit of length. It doesnt give you dramatic lashes, really kind of a basic mascara and if you wear it alone its not obvious ur wearing makeup and i like that.

This is one of my favourite mascaras and I’m on my 2nd tube. My lashes are not naturally long so this gives me amazing length and doesnt too bad at thickening either.
The black is intense and stands out well against my NW35/NC42 skin tone.
I like the wand length and thickness. It evenly separates my lashes and effectively coats the mascara till the tip without clumping. It looks dramatic enough after the first application but is amazing after a second or third coat.

This is one of my favourite mascaras. It isn’t tested on animals, it does it job (define and lengthen, not make lashes super big!) and it’s not too expensive. It doesn’t make my lashes stick together like many other mascaras I’ve tried.

This mascara is certainly one of the best I’ve ever tried. It doesn’t clamp, smudge or leave you with panda eyes. And, yes, you can even get that dramatic look with it if you spend some time and apply few coats. I don’t think it gives you any extra volume, but the lengthening effect is amazing . It is absolutely worth its money and the tube is quite big, so it will last. I’ve tried sooooo many different mascaras and for the last 5 years was only buying the luxe brands. But now it looks like I’ve found the new must have and it doesn’t cost a bomb.

As others have mentioned, this is not a product for people who want a dramatic look. It works for me, since I really don’t pay too much attention to me lashes, nor do I want to look too made-up during the day. It’s good if you prefer a natural look. I didn’t find it to be layerable-it starts to clump.
It does fade easily and takes a bit to dry, but I haven’t really felt it flake, personally. It just…fades away for me.
It’s a standard mascara tube, no bigee there, but I dislike the brush. Even the zigzag and curl method doesn’t work that well for defining lashes. But, eh, I always use my own mascara brush, so I can live with that.
Would I buy it again? Nope. There are far cheaper mascaras that do the same and have better brushes.

Very nice mascara (I had this in 03 – dark blue color, which, however, looks mostly like bluish-black)! It is not flaky at all, giving a great length lto my weak lashes and even curling them a bit. To be honest, I didn’t expect such an effect.

I put off trying this product for the longest time, because I was used to my DS waterproof something-or-other. But I caved in and bought it. I’m glad I did, because I have liked it… but I have no qualms about trying something new.
Pros:
1. The wand. It’s small enough to get into the inner corner. I always wipe off any excess and prefer to do two light coats as opposed to one thick coat. This wand makes application easy.
2. Staying power. I have sensitive eyes and allergies, and my eyes water frequently. For being a non-waterproof mascara, I have been extremely impressed. No raccoon eyes or tami-faye-ness for me, and I’m going on four months of use.
3. No flakiness.
Cons:
1. Intensity. For a natural look, I’ll do one light coat. But it’s like I’m not wearing mascara at all. For a look-at-me lash look, I need to do at LEAST two coats. I can see how this would annoy some people.
All in all, I’m glad I tried something new. I’ve liked it so far, and now I’ll try another Body Shop mascara. But I’m not hooked. I’d get it over the DS stuff, but I’m ready to try something new.

I had this mascara half bought for me about two months ago as I was running out of my previous mascara, and I had always been a fan of The Body Shop products.
To be honest, this product fails to impress me beyond an ‘it’s okay’ standard. When it was fresh from the store, I loved it, it did define my lashes and lengthen, so it did what it says on the tin.
However as time went on, I found that I had to apply 3-4 coats to get the lashes that I want: noticeable.
Overall, I think if you’re going for the natural lash look then this product is very good for that. But if you’re doing nice make up and your lashes are an important part, then be prepared to use up all the tube. Although, the price may be a deterrent.
