This is the worst mascara I ever tried. I bought it because of positive reviews here, now I wonder what kind of products reviewers were using before. (Just for a reference I used Estee Lauder, Lancome, Dior, Maybelline, Bobbi Brown, MAC – each of them is far better).
Victoria’s Secret brush is huge, too big for the tube. Mascara itself is quite liquid. Each time I take brush out I’m scared to make all surroundings dirty, so I do it very slow and very carefully. Ones applied mascara looks okay, but couple of hours later it starts to disappear. Literally. It clumps, it also smuggles a bit. It doesn’t hold the curve. It’s the first ever mascara that has to be reapplied at lunch time! That’s how bad it is. Even worse. Because it clumps during the day you can’t just reapply it, you have to take all eye makeup off and do it all over again.
Awful product!

I love this mascara!! Compared to other high-end brands, like If it did even just one of the following a bit better — thickened, stayed on longer and didn’t smudge — I would give it 5 stars in a heartbeat. But I still love it for how natural it looks, how it lengthens and how it doesn’t clump. A great mascara at a very reasonable price. Also, although it might not be relevant to everyone, just fyi last I heard VS doesn’t do animal testing so that’s a big factor for me.

So I am kind of ALL ABOUT THIS MASCARA BRUSH. It’s unlike any other yet – at least that I’ve tried. It’s got four “sides” to it: two sides are short and thick bristled, and two sides are longer and sort of comb-like plastic. I usually start by using one or both of the short sides to apply a first coat of the mascara, and then switch to one or both of the comb sides to add even more mascara with longer strokes – while the shorter sides deposit more, the longer sides deposit some AND clean up the lashes, combing through to build the layers without creating a clumpy mess. It’s surprisingly effective, once you figure out how to work it. Picks up every lash!
The mascara formula itself is also pretty good. It’s pretty dark, but not the most pigmented or glossy formula I’ve tried. It doesn’t clump, flake, smudge or melt throughout the day. It goes on without a bunch of crumbs and doesn’t clump lashes together either (although part of that is the awesome applicator). You can definitely build this one. It’s more on the dry than wet side of formulas. Does quite a bit for length and a bit of thickening. Good for holding curl. Sort of an overall pretty, big lash look.
As much as I love this, it’s $14 bucks and a pretty small tube. I am a DS girl for most things, including mascara, and I only bought this because I had a $10 off any VS purchase coupon and I’d already stocked up on bras during the sale. Definitely glad that I did. I hope to be able to use this brush with other mascara formulas long after the tube runs out but I might have to bite the bullet and buy this again because it’s worth it, even without a coupon.

This is the best mascara i have tired in a long time. LOVE the cool brush. It has 3 different sides, one side is super close together and short the next is your average bristles and the last is criss-cross rubber bristles. it doesn’t flake or clump and you can build it up really well and it has the perfect consistency.

Woah, I was not expecting to find such a great mascara at Victoria’s Secret of all places. This help up better than my beloved Rimmel Lash Accelerator, and many others I’ve purchased from sephora. No clumping. I love to take my time with mascara and build up volume and length. With the formula of this product, I can totally do that. And I actually like the brush! Coats lashes evenly.

I have been having a terrible time finding a good mascara. My lashes have thinned out during pregnancy so my usual chubby brushes did absolutely nothing to my lashes except make them look stick straight and runny. This has a precision sided brush, and a chubby-like brush so it holds my curl all day long and makes it so I can reach all my lashes!
I think regularly it’s $15, I got it on sale for $12.

This mascara is one of the best I’ve tried in a long time. The brush sucks because it is way too bulky and chubby, so it’s not the most precise mascara wand. The factor I love about it is the formula, just wet enough but has the right amount of density as well. It takes some time to try so i always you can apply tons of coats until you’re are vixenish as you’d like!
