If I had to go out the door with one product, this would be it…. I know I can count on its dramatic impact, which lasts all day long and into morning. It doesn’t flake and will never give raccoon eyes. Its gone instantly in a hot shower or can be removed gently with warm water at the sink. I’m not sure why, but I find the curling version gives more volume and impact than the high volume version, so it has been my go-to for years. The tube is slim and compact, fits nicely into any makeup or brush kit. My only complaint about the packaging is the product can build up around the tube opening without a way to effectively push it back down into the tube. This is the only tubing mascara I have used, and I never felt the need to look further.

This is hands down one of my favorite beauty products! I don’t know that I would describe it as “lash curling” as the name implies, but it definitely gives me serious volume in my lashes. The best part of this TM mascara is that it rolls right off with a little water. My eyelashes tend to break off when the are rubbed, so I find that this allows my natural lashes to grow a bit longer then they would otherwise. The downside is that the product tends to dry in the tube rather quickly if not used within a couple months despite the cost, this my HG mascara!!

I have become a convert to tube mascaras in the last few years; so many formulas left me with red, itchy eyes, and I have a low tolerance for flaking (fiber formulas) and dark saucers (all kinds of formulas). I ended up going between a drugstore tube (L’Oreal Beauty Tubes) and Trish’s Lash Curling. Both have their pros and cons. Here’s the deal on Trish:
Pros:
One wand application and you’re done
Minimal clumps
No smudges
Long wear
Easy off (warm water)
Cons:
Not exactly lengthening
Expensive
Dries out quickly, sometimes before 3 months
Ultimately, if I’m going to spend 30+ on mascara, it better give me silky fringe. Not quite that, though the wear is good.

Love this mascara, best I have ever had. Once tried the formula that is removed by warm water I will not get back to rub my eye lids removing some other mascaras, panda eyes brr..
Compared with Kanebo 38C, small peaces of 38C are not easy to be wiped off. Trish forever!

Although quite pricey, this is by far the BEST mascara! Goes on nice & easy – no clumping! Makes your lashes appear longer and never smudges throughout the day even if you cry.
Taking it off is so easy too – best way to describe how it comes off is in little tubes. No special make up remover required.
Only lasts about 3 months – which is just the right timeframe to replace your mascara. I can only find it at Nordstrom’s or through Amazon for about $31.

NOT FOR ME! I bought this because I had liked Trish McEvoy products in the past – but had never tried the Mascara.
Bought it because I was hunting for a new mascara – and I had a birthday coupon for $20 off.
The same day I got this, I got a birthday sample from Sephora which had a Makeup Forever mascara sample – and I liked that SO MUCH MORE than the Trish McEvoy.
This one doesn’t even look like I have any mascara on at all!!!
I almost didn’t buy this because the saleswoman – who was wearing it – looked like she had spiders on her eyes!
She told me that she had on at least 3 applications.
I was looking for a mascara that doesn’t run (and I have to say, this doesn’t run)
But even with 3 applications, it looks as if I have NO mascara on. I so do not get this.
I’m going for the Makeup Forever next time

I love this mascara, I’m on my second tube. It is a wet mascara but I never had a problem with it getting goopy or clumpy? I’m sorry to the ladies who had that problem, but you are most likley doing it wrong. If you want to apply several coats, layer while the mascara is still WET. Do not wait for the mascara to dry in between coats because that is when it gets clumpy. However, I have found with this mascara that ONE coat is equal to 2 or 3 so layering ususally isnt necessary. Also, if anyone says its hard to get off, its not! It’s super easy to remove, with WARM water. It’s tubular mascara, which means that the mascara molds to your lashes and slides off with only WARM water. Regular eye makeup remover will not get the job done.

this is alright. i kind of like it for the lower lashes. not sure its anything special though

I love this mascara! I used to only use CoverGirl’s Great Lash — the standard for a beginner, but I kept using it for years — and was really happy when I received a sample of this mascara because after a few days of use, I could already tell it was better than Great Lash. The greatest thing about it, honestly, is the wand. It evenly distributes the mascara and I really haven’t had to touch my eyelash brush in weeks, because there’s no clumping or weird patches without mascara. The mascara itself didn’t really curl my lashes, but it certainly kept them lifted after using an eyelash curler, instead of weighing them down and flattening them out. It also didn’t give me that huge super-volumized fake lashes appearance, but good news — I’m not a fan of that look — and it still made my eyes stand out in a good way. After an eight-hour day with Great Lash I would have superbad smudges under my eyes (the raccoon effect…yuck) that would only come out with serious scrubbing or a good makeup-remover towelette. However, after the same amount of time with Clinique’s mascara, I really didn’t see any smudging, or if I did it was very limited.
Definitely would buy again, but it is a leeeettle expensive 🙁 if you’re willing to splurge, I would recommend it! The sample tube lasted me a couple of weeks using it once daily!

I don’t think this actually curls lashes, or even helps them stay curled, HOWEVER, I adore this mascara b/c of the wand, brush (separates lashes nicely) texture, colour, never smudges (even tho it’s not a waterproof mascara).. This is a mascara Sam Chapman (from Pixiwoo!) recommended, & I’m glad I went out to grab it! A definite go to for me!

Best mascara I’ve ever used..and I used an awful lot! It’s rather expensive but is worth the money as it’s just wonderful.
It curls my lashes and keeps the curl for days ( I know bad me, one should take one’s make up off every night )
It’s great for my fairly sensitive eyes and comes off very easily with a good cleanser and has no rub off and does not smudge.
I’d highly recommend this mascara 🙂

COLOR: I got black, it is not as jet black as I like, but it is pretty dark
APPLICATION: This is really easy to put. It does not start clumping until it is pretty old, like 4 months or so.
WEAR: This stays on, and does not smudge even when you rub your eyes.
REMOVAL: This stuff does not come off easily, until you get it wet, when it is wet it clumps off. It reminds me of rinsing off the paint that is left on the hard part of the paint brush, how it comes off in a clump. I find it a little difficult to get off because you have to rub your eyes when they are wet to get it off.
OVERALL: This is my favorite everyday mascara. It is NOT good for funerals or movies when you think you might cry because if you do cry it will leave clumps of black all over your face.

I received a generous sample of this as a GWP. The one pro: I like the color – a rich black that isn’t too inky. Now for the cons: The formula is a bit wet so it can be messy and it’s hard to get it off your skin so right off the bat, application was tough. This mascara doesn’t give me the dramatic length and thickness of my fave mascara, Benefit’s They’re Real, so I would not purchase. The lengthening is OK, not great thickening. It also clumps, probably because of the wet formula, and I found it hard to comb through. I didn’t find it to give me much curl either. It’s not a terrible mascara but it’s not the one for me.

I really wanted this to work…the clinique lady at the counter told me it was reformulated to include tube technology (like L’oreal?) Even with an eyelash curler my lashes would not stay curled. I could only use one coat (I like atleast 2) more than one resulted in the horrific spider leg look. It really dried out my lashes. I’ve never had a mascara that I couldn’t make work and I can’t make this work. It’s horrible!

I am in love with this mascara. I have never worn a mascara that stays put so well and then removes so easily. I just rub my lashes with warm water from the sink and voila! the lash tubes slide right off. There are no nasty racoon eyes–EVER. The rep who sold this to me said that lots of people freak out when they see the mascara tubes in the sink and think their lashes are falling out, so I was prepared for that the first time I took it off.
I was worried after reading a review that said the tube gets flaky after six weeks. I’m on week 10 with my first tube and I can still wear it, although I can tell its getting a bit dryer, which gives the mascara a tendency to flake. But I still haven’t thought it was so bad that I’ve opened my new tube yet. I think 2 1/2 months is not fantastic, but also not too bad for a tube of mascara to last.
I don’t really think this stuff curls my lashes, so I don’t know why its named curling mascara. But as far as I’m concerned, they can call it what they want and I will still buy it. Long, defined, dark, thick lashes that don’t smudge, smear or require sandblasting to remove!

This is an AMAZING mascara. it stays on all day with smudging and doesn’t bothr my sensitive eyes at all. It makes my lashes look incredibly long. Unfortunately, the packaging is awful. Mascara got caught in the tthreads of the screw top just once, and it dried shut. Instead of untwisting, now the tube just comes apart. It was an expensive tube of mascara, totally wasted. Do not buy.

I have been on the hunt for an HG mascara for the last few years and have tried dozens. I stray from this sometimes, to save money, but keep coming back because nothing compares. I would rate this 4 1/2 stars, rather than 5, as a tube only lasts a few weeks for me, then it becomes flaky. The reason I give this such a high rating.. If I use this with Lancome XL primer, then my lashes practically touch my eyebrows, they become so long! UPDATE: I guess they changed the formula on this one. I just bought a new tube. It is no longer a tubing mascara and smudged on me big time..

This mascara holds a curl perfectly during the whole day, and did not smear, flake or crumble on me. However the brush picks up way too much product, I always had to wipe some on a piece of paper, very wasteful. Fortunately, since it felt like a tubular type Lancôme mascara I was using at the time, when I realized the eye makeup remover wasn’t working, I tried warm water and it came out fine, but I agree with other reviewers that there should be some explanation on the packaging. The removal is what makes me not repurchase this, I had to use very warm water (ouch my eyeballs) and some tugging on my eyelashes to drag out the tubes, I kept losing lashes everytime I used this mascara :/ not good.

I currently use Clinique Lash Power, and when I went to purchase a new tube, the SA told me that they had it in a new tube with a curved brush, to curl your lashes. So I bought this.
As far as the formula goes, I think it is the same as Lash Power. It is the only formula I can find that doesn’t smudge and make me look like a raccoon. But the brush makes it horrible. It wasn’t too bad the first few times I used it, although I wasn’t too wild about the brush from the start. But too much product builds up on the brush, and when you pull it out of the tube not enough is wiped off. Thus, I get gloppy, clumpy, wet lashes. Hate it.
As far as the problem that people have removing this and Lash Power, Clinique really needs to put some instructions on or in the package. After my first purchase, I went back and mentioned to the SA that it was very hard to remove. She told me that it is formulated to come off with very warm water. And that is what works. You have to play with finding the water temp that is warm enough, but not too hot. When I bought this tube, I mentioned that many people who buy this are complaining how hard it is to remove, and that they should tell people when they buy it how to remove it, or put it on the package. She didn’t seem too concerned. I think their website mentions warm water removal with the product description, but that doesn’t help people who don’t look on their website.

This is horrible. I never return anything & I returned this. It does not curl, you cannot get it off, it does not look good, the list just goes on!
