I’m not sure if the previous reviewer did curl her lashes properly ( no offence) but this product does work for me in terms of holding curl power which I always look for in a mascara.
Product is easily removed for me not sure why it is not for the previous reviewers. Does give volume ,does not smudge .Just feel that the Japanese does the best drug store mascaras and I would get it again.

Applies on very thick and heavily, gives absolutely no curve which I found was the most disappointing part about the product. Despite curling my lashes, upon application my eyelashes looked stick straight, pointing downwards, and felt very heavy. Did not help much with volume either. Packaging was pretty, but overall, was quite disappointed and let down.

It is very water-proof and oil-proof. Doesn’t flake and doesn’t smudge. It is very intensely dark and lengthens very well. It is buildable for dramatic effect. Mini tubes of fibre clings on to my lashes, it makes my lashes very heavy and curl doesn’t hold very well. The trade-off for this very oil- and water proof mascara is that it is quite difficult to remove. I use a very good eye-makeup remove yet it still takes several (harsh) wipes to get the mascara off (you can see lots of mini fibre stuck on the cotton pad). The product claims that there are beauty ingredients that will help to make your lashes healthier. I don’t think I’ll repurchase this (even though it’s amazing to use in the humid hot summer) because I’ll probably make myself more prone to eye wrinkles if it’s so hard to remove.
