This used to be my HG mascara for years and I would buy 5 tubes at a time when Priceline or BigW had their 40% off sales, HOWEVER, the last 2 tubes I have had the formula has been different. This mascara never used to flake and now it flakes pretty much straight after it dries. All day I have flakes coming down and getting under and into my eyes. It has caused me so much irritation! At first I thought the product was just getting a bit old and drying out (I tend to replace every 2-3 months) so I opened a brand new tube and it happened again! I am so disappointed because it’s so hard to find drug store brand tubing mascaras that down weigh down the lashes and this formula used to be perfect! Such a shame, I still have 3 unopened tubes left that I won’t be using 🙁

When used in conjunction with an eyelash curler, this does an okay job at keeping the lashes curled. It lasts all day, and while it doesn’t smudge, it’s easy to take off at the end of the day. It doesn’t give much volume and isn’t the blackest mascara out, but this could be a good budget-friendly option.
It clumps if you apply a fresh coat on top of an already dried coat. So touch ups halfway through the day aren’t the best idea with this mascara.

This is a really great, fattening mascara and the shade is a deep black. It claims to create super curled lashes but not for me. I have freakishly straight lashes which cannot hold a curl no matter what sorcery I use to tame them, so I don’t blame the product too much. Australis products are available from Priceline, I think I got this on sale for about $10. It doesn’t clump, it’s tubular so it doesn’t streak or run – I’ve used much more expensive mascaras than this which were of much lesser quality. Like I said, my eyelashes are weirdly & stubbornly straight so I don’t think there’ll ever be a true HG mascara for me. But I’ll definitely buy this again, it does the job & I have no complaints.

First thing first : THIS MASCARA DOES NOT SMUDGE !
This is the only mascara (from all that I’ve used in my entire life) that doesn’t smudge AT ALL.
Which is great since I’ve don’t have to keep checking for the panda eyes =)
Due to its warm wash-off formula, this mascara doesn’t even melt off when it rains, but it is still easy to take off as it comes off when I gently rub my lashes with warm water.
It also defines , lengthen , and hold the curl very well.
This Mascara doesn’t give me the super dramatic effect – which is fine – but it does give me natural-looking-lush lashes which I love.
This is gonna be my stable
