Attempts this on in dept. store yet when I obtained home it flaked horribly … tried it once more today, very same thing.
Like the concept of the smaller applicator so I do not obtain those awful one-lash in the eyeball thing; yet
can’t stand the flaking!!

Why have not I attempted this prior to? I had actually never ever utilized Bobbi Brown cosmetics before, until I determined to stroll by the counter and also really have a good take a look at their items. I got the Intensifying mascara due to the fact that I was promptly drawn in to the tiny, little brush. That outstanding, little brush reaches each and every lash of mine and also makes my stubby lashes show up as long, dark and shiny. I had no concept that this was a tubes mascara up until I washed it off. I have fairly sensitive eyes and eliminating this did not aggravate or hurt like my eyes tend to do when I remove numerous, various other mascaras.
This mascara is on the more expensive side, however well wroth it !! My favored feature of it is that you can build it up or put on one, light coat. Regardless, your lashes will look healthy and balanced, glossy as well as the appearance it offers when you use it will not transform throughout the day. I am so grateful I attempted this … I am hooked!!

I have attempted a reasonable share of the offered tubes mascaras in my nation, and also this i by far the best contrasted to every one of them. Right here’s why
When I was younger I mainly utilized the L’oreal million lashes collection. In some way every little thing started smudging on me and also I was suggested to try tubes mascaras. Rather a difficulty due to the fact that I was utilized to BIG cosy brushes, which is not the situation with many tubing mascaras … yet I had a whole lot to learn;–RRB-.
I started with Mirenesse, a relatively normally generated tubes mascara (thumbs up for that). It’s great, yet dries out truly swiftly in the container as well as it is just as costly as this Bobbi Brown one which I after that attempted. After that i tried the Clinique Lash Power which is pretty good as well as very easy to apply, a bit more affordable yet it is so drying on my lashes. The consistensy is simply not for me.
After that i attempted the MAC Extended Play. Fair price, reasonable top quality and a softer consistensy. But it would certainly wind up smudging and flaking a bit. Finally i have actually attempted the Glossier Lash Glossy. It’s ok. I can see why some individuals would certainly like it yet I have to claim every one of the others might be JUST as great (perhaps due to the fact that i have a preference for routine bristles, not the plastic ones).
IN BETWEEN ALL OF THESE MASCARAS i have, regularly, went on reversing to the Bobbi Brown Intesifying Long-Wear Mascara. It’s perfectly balanced in consistensy, it goes on so easy I ‘d call it fail-safe = I can do my lashes with my eyes closed with this set and also I never ever have any kind of mishaps with spots and also dots on my eyelids. It DOES NOT smudge, EVER! It goes off quite easy, however stays on via a minimum of some weeping. It’s buildable but typically not needed because I actually believe it makes my lashes naturally complete as well as lengthy. It is not a significant mascara though, but I don’t need it to be so. It’s so all-natural, it just looks like I was born with incredible (reasonably fantastic not photoshopped impressive) all-natural long complete lashes, simple to work with as well as top quality. So I pay the cost, although it is fairly expensive. I simply can not appear to find anything else (in my nation) that is just as great and also bulletproof for much less money.
* My lashes are not short nor long. Just in between.

I have tried a fair share of the available tubing mascaras in my country, and this i by far the best compared to all of them. Here’s why
When I was younger I mostly used the L’oreal million lashes series. Somehow everything started smudging on me and I was recommended to try tubing mascaras. Quite a challenge because I was used to BIG fluffy brushes, which is not the case with most tubing mascaras… but I had a lot to learn 😉
I started with Mirenesse, a fairly naturally produced tubing mascara (thumbs up for that). It’s good, but dries out really quickly in the container and it is just as expensive as this Bobbi Brown one which I then tried. Then i tried the Clinique Lash Power which is pretty good and easy to apply, a bit cheaper but it is just SO drying on my lashes. The consistensy is just not for me.
Then i tried the MAC Extended Play. Fair price, fair quality and a softer consistensy. But it would end up smudging and flaking a little bit. Lastly i’ve tried the Glossier Lash Slick. It’s ok. I can see why some people would like it but I must say all of the others might be JUST as good (maybe because i have a preference for regular bristles, not the plastic ones).
IN BETWEEN ALL OF THESE MASCARAS i have, on a regular basis, kept on turning back to the Bobbi Brown Intesifying Long-Wear Mascara. It’s perfectly balanced in consistensy, it goes on so easy I’d call it foolproof = I could do my lashes with my eyes closed with this one and I never have any accidents with spots and dots on my eyelids. It DOES NOT smudge, EVER! It goes off pretty easy, but stays on through at least some crying. It’s buildable but often not necessary because I actually think it makes my lashes naturally full and long. It is not a dramatic mascara though, but I dont need it to be so. It’s just so natural, it just looks like I was born with amazing (realistically amazing not photoshopped amazing) natural long full lashes, easy to work with and high quality. So I pay the price, even though it is quite expensive. I just can’t seem to find anything else (in my country) that is just as good and bulletproof for less money.
*My lashes are not short nor long. Just in between.

I got this mascara as part of Nordstrom’s mascara madness in lieu of my beloved Lancome Cils Booster. (oh why did Nordstrom stop offering primers as part of the madness?)
I use it as a final layer after I apply Bobbi Brown’s Smokey lash mascara to ‘seal’ the mascara. (although the Smokey lash mascara stays put all day by itself without any issues)
I’m not a fan of the Intensifying long wear mascara as it’s very thin and would work best for women blessed with naturally long and full lashes. (I’m not one of them unfortunately)
I’ll be very glad once I use up this tube.
Clinique offers something similar for less money so if you’re looking for a tubing mascara, I’d recommend taking a look at Clinique’s version.

Do not understand the high ratings on this mascara. Does not give length or volume.
I cannot wear it alone (I hardly notice I am wearing mascara) and to use as first coat, it is not fit (I cannot get through my lashes once I have applied one coat of this).
And to get it off, it is a nightmare (I even lost lashes when trying to get the mascara off).
I love Bobbi Brown, but this is a no go.
Disappointed.

I love “tubing” mascaras. I tried and loved Blinc Amplified, but It turned out that I was allergic to it, causing my eyes to water and burn. I have since tried them all from HE to DS and I like this one from Bobbi. Intensifying is a good mascara at a ridiculous price. It is a beautiful, deep black, the brush size is perfect, and it gives me longer, dark, separated lashes with NO clumps and doesn’t make my lashes as crunchy as Blinc did. I am also not allergic to anything in it. But, you should know that this mascara won’t give you ANY drama, even layered, but rather a natural look. On the days I want big, long lashes I use L’Oréal’s Telescopic in Blackest Black (love). I have very oily skin and this mascara doesn’t flake, smudge or change at all until you hit your lashes with warm water. Then off it comes effortlessly. Is it expensive? Absolutely! Is it worth $30? Absolutely not! I will not repurchase. My favorite tubing mascara is DHC’s Perfect Pro. It gives more length, volume and darkness at $18 online.

Intensifying? Nope.
Long-lasting? No.
This is my first Bobbi Brown product, and it disappoints. I do like the size of the wand – it’s very sleek and it gets to my inner corner lashes easily without leaving a mess on my lids – but it FLAKES BADLY.
Since I have naturally long lashes, I don’t mind wearing a mascara that does not curl or lengthen or give extra volume. It just has to be smudgeproof and transferproof, does not clump and flake-free!! This mascara flakes within the first hour of application, regardless of the climate. You don’t even need to touch your lashes or eyes for the product to fall off like leaves do in autumn. This itself, makes the product a waste of money.
It flakes AND irritates your eyes. I’ve never had this trouble with other mascaras before. It’s worrying for a contact lenses wearer as I would never know if any product has contaminated my lenses. The flaking is so annoying to the point where I feel like rubbing everything off my eyes, then I remember I’m outside and I can’t risk looking like a lady who does not know how to wear makeup properly, should the product smudge all over lol.
I’m still looking for my go-to mascara. Tarte’s Lights Camera and Flashes, Diorshow Iconic Overcurl and Lancome Hypnose are my options. Still considering..

I had heard good things about this mascara so bought a mini size on eBay.
I adore the small brush, it’s perfect for getting to the base of my sparse lashes and for coating my bottom lashes. This coats my lashes evenly and gives a nice amount of thickness and volume (but nothing too dramatic).
The only issue I have is with the removal. When I use my regular remover, this comes off in flakes which can really irritate my eyes if they get in them. However, I have noticed that most of the newer waterproof mascaras do have the same issue so it is just me being picky.
I would buy this again, it’s a great mascara and has one of the best brushes I have found.

I really wanted to like this mascara. Never used a mascara with such short bristles on the wand. It made application less messy than with other mascaras. My lashes look great. But it did not last so long on me. I tried it with and without lash primer and still got smudging beneath my eyes. My eyes are deep-set, and my lids are oily so I need a true waterproof mascara. Won’t purchase this again.

Drum roll please…. I think I’ve found my HG mascara! I have kissed many a frog on my mascara journey. Many turned out to be duffers. I gave up on natural mascaras, although they are improving, they lack the staying power of a tubing mascara, IMHO. I have been using the tubing mascaras predominantly for the last decade. I like how you put them on in the morning and they stay put, through exercise, rain, tears etc. Then, when you are ready to remove, hot water and fingertips do the job of removing. The problem with a lot of them, is that they dry up quickly, don’t always have much oomph and sometimes tiny flakes drift and irritate the eyes. Not the case, with this beauty. Although, it’s probably not technically a tubing mascara, it’s similar, in that hot water removes it.
Packaged in a sleek looking tube, with a small brush that is easy to use. Gives nice separation, some oomph (though, not falsies oomph). This also feels quite soft and flexible on, rather than crispy and stiff, like some mascara do. As far as holding a curl, that’s not a priority for me, as my lashes tend to stay curled with most mascaras. I imagine it would hold a curl for most people though. Most importantly for me, it never smudges and doesn’t irritate my sensitive eyes.
Here’s how I would rate the elements of this mascara:
Lenthening : 8/10
Volumizing: 8/10
Long-lasting/flake & smudge resistance: 10/10
Ease of removal: 9/10
