I am really surprised at the negative reviews here. I got this because it resembled my old favourite mascara by Cover Girl, Luxe. It’s not the same but it’s an excellent mascara. I used it by itself, and got long, full, lush, beautiful lashes. It has that satisfying feel to it, a slight drag when you remove the wand, indicating that it is full of product and not dried out and empty like so many of the mascaras on the shelves. I was shocked when it kept elongating my lashes with each coat. Three coats was perfect. I had no clumps, no flaking. You cannot see the plum colour but it looks different from black mascaras. It looks less harsh. I love this and it does not irritate my eyes at all.
Update: it flakes after 8 hours or so. I’ll still use it sometimes because I love the subdued shade combined with full lashes. Not sure if I will buy again – probably will because it is unique.
Update: threw it out because it is completely dried up and useless. Avoid!

The most uninspiring mascara ever. Just totally BLAH. Nothing really to it: a mascara thats kinda dry, dull, in a crappy tube, and….just exists. I bought it to replace my badgal lash in plum mascara — does NOT even come close. It is just a whatever mascara. Meh.

This made my eyelashes clumped together and stiff–not an attractive look. I couldn’t see any tint of color on my dark lashes. Nice idea, but didn’t deliver.
