I’ve purchased many Milani products and have been quite happy with their quality and price. This mascara unfortunately didn’t fit the bill in quality. It lasted only few days before it got clumpy and dried out. So it was tossed. I’ll still purchase Milani products but not their mascaras.

I agree with most of the reviewers here, not bad for a drugstore mascara at all. I bought this at a clearance sale at my local CVS for about $3 so being on clearance it’s kinda sad to know it’s more than likely going to be discontinued. This mascara reminded me of Too Faced size queen mascara. The only difference was the amazingly cheaper price tag and the way the shape of the brush was made but I want to say very similar HUGE size. Oh, and also that it actually delivered results unlike size queen lol It added nice length, definition and volume and it didn’t really flake throughout the day however it can tend to clump on you if you apply it in a hurry I like to do the zig zag motion from root to tip and that seems to do the trick for me. For the price paid I consider it a pretty decent mascara and If I could buy it at the same price again I would. If you’re looking for nice definition and more natural looking drama then this is a pretty good choice but if you’re looking for huge exaggerated Nicki minaj territory lashes than you will be disappointed

I am very impressed with a ” drug store product.” I buy this mascara at a local CVS, Im a cosmetologist in the making, therefor I constantly experiment with new things. I’ve bought multiple mascara a from sephora, Estée Lauder and other places. the mascara costed up to 30$. they hardly even work. that’s why I’m obsessed over the fact that this 6$ mascara works better then a 30$ one. it makes my lashes very long! the only thing I’d like improvement on is that it doesn’t make your lashes very dark. I get the black mascara because I want it to stand out. it still looks good though, I recommend you buy it!

This product really impressed me. I am always on the hunt for an affordable mascara that gives me volume and length, and this does both for me. This mascara has a huge wand that works well on my top lashes. Working this mascara on bottom lashes can be tricky, it may be easier to use a different mascara for the bottom lashes. The packaging is basic, but the price of the product is what convinced me to give this a try. Overall, I would purchase this mascara again.

I would like to think I got a dud because Milani products have been exceptional in my experience. However, the Grandissimo Lashes Mascara has failed to impress me, Milani’s most ardent admirer. The humongous wand with its wire bristles seemed promising. They are made that way to deposit lots of product to enhance volume. So far, the wand does a passable job at it. What irks me is the formula. It is thick and dry which makes every sweep of the lash jagged and tedious. It feels like I am dragging the wand through my lashes. Adding more coats lead to clumping which nobody wants. It also does a lackluster job of keeping the curl for a reasonable amount of time. If only the formula was slightly wetter (but not as wet as Covergirl), this mascara would be redeemed. Until then, I would stick with Maybelline. It does mascara right.

I’m 60, and I wear glasses. I used Grandissimo Lashes for the first time yesterday, and I’m very impressed. First, I always curl my lashes with my MAC eyelash curler. Then, I place the wand right at the base of my lashes and slowly coax them up and out in a “z” motion, coating them evenly. To avoid clumping, I always wait for the first coat to dry completely before applying the second coat. I experienced beautiful volume and definition with this mascara. When I took it off before bed, it hadn’t flaked or smudged at all. No raccoon eyes. And, it came off easily with a makeup wipe. I will definitely repurchase.

This is the best mascara I have ever used. It didn’t clump on me and made my lashes to thick and separated them. I also used it on the bottom lashes which I usually don’t. Made my eyes look very nice. I purchased it in black and it is definelty very black.

huh, well, I’m going to have to disagree with the first review; this stuff ain’t half bad! Got it at Meijer for $6.50, in Black (not sure there are other shades).
I applied it to one eye, it separated very well, some length, some volume. I waited for maybe 30 seconds while fanning uselessly at my lashes, then applied a second coat.
Dang! up to my eyebrows, fanned out, thick but not a unilash, pretty excellent.
This is a very dry formula, I can see it being good for no more than 60 days (blah blah, I know, throw it out, whatevs).
Anyhooter, pretty good for the price.

Gets two lippies for not smudging or flaking, which on me with it not being waterproof is no mean feat. But I really hate when cosmetic companies equate “volume” with “clumping!” Giving me clumps does not mean you are giving me lash volume! The formula just gloms onto all the lashes at once and even using a lash comb I could not get good separation. It has a giant brush that is really difficult to maneuver and worsens the clump factor. Not good.
