I was anxious to try this mascara for a few reasons: One: it got such great reviews on Ulta’s website. Two: it has a rubberized, curved brush EXACTLY like Cover Girl Clump Crusher, a mascara I love. Three: the price us excellent, and it was on sale at Ulta.
It applies pretty much like Clump Crusher: combs through lashes, clump-free, buidable, decent volume and length, nothing dramatic. A decent everyday workhorse mascara. I don’t need much in a mascara because I have decent lashes to begin with. I’m easy to please.
But: it flakes. Badly. It starts flaking and keeps flaking after only a couple hours. It’s basically unusable. At first I thought it was me, but I’ve worn it now at least ten times and it always happens.
I’ll give it two stars because it gave me results at first, and other people seem to have better luck so maybe I got a bad batch. But into the trash it goes!
