   HG material!! I only wear waterproof mascara, but even those are resulting in raccoon eyes due to my SS which I am NOT about to change, so enter this product – no more raccoon eyes…ever! Doesn’t irritate my eyes w/ or w/out my contacts.

   My concern is I believe it may be d/c as Walmart no longer has it available and I haven’t been able to find it anywhere else except on Amazon for $60 – WHAAATTT??? No thank you – I much prefer the $5 I was paying at Walmart. I had to toss my tube when I developed an eye infection (unrelated to product use) and now I can’t find it. So, I’ve started using NYX Proof It version which works well too.

   I am a HUGE fan of Hard Candy products. This “Fast and Fabulous” line they came out with is a definite WIN!!! This mascara is the first of its kind that I have tried (I know that NYX makes one and other brands have similar products). I don’t like wearing waterproof mascara since it’s a pain to get off. This is basically just a waterproofing gel that you coat on top of regular mascara which is what i was looking for. That way I can make my favorite non waterproof mascara, waterproof! I’ve noticed by the end of the day that there are mascara smudges on my lower lash line. This hasn’t been an issue for me before, just recently – not sure why. This waterproof coating does work really well in significantly reducing the amount of smudges I get. It’s a clear gel that you sweep over your regular mascara (after it has dried). Removes easily – unlike waterproof mascaras since it’s only a “top coat”. I don’t need to use an oil based remover, just a dual solution remover (the ones that you need to shake before use).

   My only complaint is the packaging. I wish the tube was skinnier. Since the brush itself is quite skinny, I don’t find that it grabs much/enough of the gel since the tube is kinda wide.

   BEST waterproof mascara top coat. It has a nice gel consistency and shows up clear over your normal mascara. The wand has no bristles, just an etched spiral rod wand with a very light felt lining. It’s great because when I use other top coats with traditional wands, they pick up a lot of the mascara I’m wearing. Some of mascara transfers onto this brushless wand, but I can wipe it off with a clean tissue without damaging the applicator (ahem, I’m looking at you, NYX ‘Proof it’).

   I use this to smudge proof my waterproof mascara. I’m a waterproof makeup fiend. And this is my best aide.

   This is a great product that waterproofs, and prevents mascara from smearing under eyes. Swipe the topcoat over your regular mascara (after it dries), and you are good to go. I wear a rich eye cream, concealer, yada yada, and I have no problems with mascara smearing under my eyes. This is around $6.00 at Walmart, and I have already bought a back up. I have used, and loved Clarins Double Fix’ Mascara for years, and I’m ecstatic to have found a reliable, and inexpensive replacement for it.
