Got a sample of it and used it 3 times and all 3 times I had the worst panda eyes ever. Definitely will not buy, and it was great that I know all this from a sample.

It’s an expensive mascara that did add volume and length but it was so smudgey and flakey. Cool tube, nice very black pigment but It’s not worth the price for it’s okay staying performance. It also requires dual phase oil makeup remover despite not being waterproof. I think it performed worse than drugstore. Will not buy again.

I recieved a sample tube of this (not waterproof) with my Mac order.
It lookes really promising, nice brush, made my lashes very long (not thick) and seperated.
Sadly…after 2-3 hours I had transfer under my eyes. I only wear mascara on my top lashes but that didn’t spare me.
Also, a bit hard to remove for non-waterproof.
I’m combination skin with oily eyelids. Only try this if you are drier than I am.

I dont own a lot of MAC products but I know everyone likes them. Because of that I was a little disappointed. It was a decent mascara but nothing special. I have naturally long lashes and this kinda weighed them down. I will say I liked the packaging. It’s one of those mascaras that makes the thick luxurious sound when you pull the wand out…is that weird?? Its strangely satisfying….

I’m not sure if this formula has improved since the last time I tried it a few years ago. Formula now seems to hold curl and give a pretty feathery effect. The brush is kinda chunky you just gotta maneuver it right and your good. Nice dark separated lashes.

I receive a nice large free sample from MAC. I love the wand on this mascara. It is thin enough to get all the lashes on top and bottom. It made my lashes longer and fuller. I was so excited to see the difference in one coat. It has a nice rich deep black color. It does smear when wet, so hold still until the mascara dries or it will transfer to lid and lower lash area. If it does like on me, wait till it dries and then use a Qtip to get it off. I have very stubborn straight lashes that take a lot of work to curl upwards. As soon as I apply this mascara my beautifully curled lashes fell. The beautiful length and thickness with this mascara was not seen.
If you have naturally curly lashes, you will really probably love this formula. If you are like me, buy something else. My holy grail was YSL mascara waterproof, but I have not tried the new formula.
PRO: deep black and nice thin wand
CON: Does not keep a curl on me and transfers onto lid

This formula is great for people with normal to dry skin. Steer clear if you’ve got oily lids because you will probably look like a raccoon in a matter of hours.
It’s a wet mascara and lengthens beautifully. It doesn’t add much volume but it could be worse. The best part about it is that it feels lightweight and holds a curl.
Overall, it’s not a repurchase since there are way better mascaras even at the drugstore and they’re like a third of the price.

I got a sample of this a while ago and fell in love so bought the full size. I’ve been using this for maybe 9 months now..I really loved it at first and still love how it makes my lashes look. My problem with it is panda eyes when I check my face at mid morning I’ve got black smudges under my eyes!! It does last all day and is easy to remove. This would be my perfect mascara if it didn’t leave me with panda eyes…I’m buying something else to try. Disappointed

LOVE the brush. It slims down at the end so it’s easy to reach your side lashes, and lets you build coats. Color is great, it’s easy to use and isn’t bad at holding a curl. I thought I was smitten. And then — flaking, smearing under the eye, just terrible wear. Anyway, I’ll know to look for this shape brush again. One note: I was using a sample. I thought it was possible I’d gotten a an old tube and that was the problem but I see similar comments by other reviews. So there you are. No love connection.

My lashes are puny. They’re very fine and I’ll try just about any mascara that promises to plump, volumize (is that a word?) or just plain fatten them up. While I have a HG mascara already (Max Factor 2000 Calorie) for everyday looks, I’m always looking for something new.
I was pleasantly surprised by this mascara after reading the reviews on here. I received a few samples of this with an online order, and honestly, I wasn’t expecting much besides spidery lashes and lots of flaking. That said, mascara is something that seems to be very personal–some of the more popular mascaras out there haven’t worked for me.
The difference that the mascara made was amazing. My lashes looked long and well defined, without the spidery look. Granted, I only use one or two coats, so I could imagine that if I added a coat or two, I would get that look.
This lasts all day on me without flaking. I did notice that it’s not as water resistant as other mascaras, which is a slight bummer, but it’s not advertised as a waterproof mascara.
I like this. It won’t replace 2000 Calorie as my HG, and I’m not sure I’m willing to fork out $22 for a tube, though.
